Duluth Entry: Algoma Sault arrived at 05:20 (CST) Tuesday morning to unload salt at Envirotech-Hallett #8. James R. Barker arrived at 08:07 to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Algoma Sault departed at 17:12 empty for Thunder Bay. As of Tuesday night, Federal Yukina was unloading general cargo at Port Terminal. Mesabi Miner is expected Tuesday night to load coal at SMET. James R. Barker is estimated to depart early Wednesday morning with iron ore pellets. Great Republic is expected early morning to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5; she should be shifting to load iron ore pellets at CN#6 once finished.
Superior Entry: Walter J. McCarthy Jr. departed at 03:45 (CST) Tuesday morning with iron ore pellets for Gary. John D. Leitch arrived at 04:01 to take McCarthy’s place at BNSF. As of Tuesday night, Stewart J. Cort was at anchor off Superior waiting for John D. Leitch to depart from BNSF. John D. Leitch is estimated to depart Tuesday night with iron ore pellets for Quebec City; Stewart J. Cort will arrive once she departs. Stewart J. Cort is estimated to depart Wednesday morning with iron ore pellets for Burns Harbor.

Thunder Bay, ON
Tuesday; 3:01 Frontenac arrived at the MobilEx Valley Camp dock to unload road salt. 4:28 The saltie Lubie arrived at Viterra A to load grain.14:27 Kaministqua departed for Sorel. 14:32 Frontenac departed for the open lake to clean out her holds and is returning to load wheat. 14:39 Mottler weighed anchor and proceeded to the Richardson Main Terminal to load grain. 16:23 Manitoulin arrived at the Superior Elevator to load grain.

St. Marys River
The 1,000-footer Indiana Harbor was unloading at Algoma Steel on Tuesday morning. This was an unusual trip for her. She departed upbound in the late afternoon. Barge Menominee/tug Olive L. Moore unloaded more aggregate for the new lock project, on Tuesday afternoon. After they finished they moved over to the Algoma Export Dock.

Northern Lake Michigan
Port Inland, MI: Arthur M. Anderson departed with stone Tuesday morning. Her place at the dock was taken by Joseph L. Block.

Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports
Tug John Marshall arrived from Calumet Harbor at 05:34 Tuesday (06/29) with three empty barges. She delivered the empty barges at the COFCO elevator, picked up three loaded barges, then headed back to Calumet Harbor at 08:46. Isadora arrived from Burns Harbor at 6:04. With an assist from tug North Dakota, she backed into south slip one, outer harbor, and tied up at the Federal Marine Terminals dock. Isadora carries steel from IJmuiden, Netherlands. After delivering salt from Compass Minerals, Goderich, Algoma Innovator cleared for Meldrum Bay at 10:12. Samuel de Champlain/Innovation arrived from Alpena at 11:42 with cement for the Lafarge terminal. Baie Comeau is expected Wednesday with deicing salt from Morton, Windsor.

Southern Lake Michigan
Federal St. Laurent was at Burns Harbor Tuesday evening. Presque Isle was departing Gary. American Spirit was at Indiana Harbor. Federal Nakagawa was at S. Chicago.

Northern Lake Huron
McGregor Bay: Tuesday; 5:49 The cement carrier arrived at the Lafarge Whitefish Terminal to unload and departed at 16:43 for Alpena MI.
Bruce Mines: Tuesday; 3:02 Joyce L Van Enkevort / Great Lakes Trader departed for Detroit.
Drummond Island: Monday; 23:42 John G Munson departed for Marine City.
Cheboygan: Tuesday; 2:34 The tug Michigan / tanker barge Great Lakes arrived at the US Oil Co terminal to unload petroleum products and departed at 14:21 for Toledo.
Calcite: Monday; 23:35 Laura L Van Enkevort / Joseph H Thompson departed for Cleveland. 23:56 Olive L Moore / Menominee departed for Sault Ste Marie. Tuesday; 15:15 John J Boland arrived to load limestone
Stoneport: Tuesday; 8:43 Clyde S Van Enkevort / Erie Trader departed for a Lake Superior port.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Compass cleared 10.03 am Tuesday upbound for Chicago with salt.  Algoma Buffalo expected next.

Monroe:  Paul R. Tregurtha departed for Superior.
Marblehead:  Herbert C. Jackson is loading for Lorain.
Sandusky:  CSL Niagara departed at 12:46 for Hamilton.
Lorain:  Herbert C. Jackson arrived at LaFarge at 17:51.
Cleveland:  Fivelborg departed for Chicago. Fortunagracht arrived at 08:18 and went to dock 24E at the Port. American Courage is  running shuttles.
Fairport Harbor:  Calumet left at 08:49 for Drummond Island.
Nanticoke:  Edwin H. Gott departed for Two Harbors at 07:49. Algoma Hansa departed at 14:18 for Tracy. Algonova and Algonorth are at Imperial Oil.

McKeil Spirit was unloading at Lehigh Cement on Tuesday afternoon.

Calypso should arrive in Erie early Thursday morning with another load of windmill blades from Pecem, Brazil.

Buffalo, NY – Brian Wroblewski
NACC Capri was back for another quick hit & run mission on the 28th when she arrived from Bath at 6PM and was towed in by the Vermont. It was just like the last time, another partial cargo that came off the boat fast and they were taken out by the Vermont again at 6AM on the 29th.
