Duluth Entry: Mesabi Miner arrived at 21:35 (CST) Tuesday night to load coal at SMET. Great Republic arrived at 05:07 Wednesday morning to unload limestone at C.Reiss. James R. Barker departed at 05:53 with iron ore pellets for Indiana Harbor. Mesabi Miner departed at 09:48 with coal for St. Clair and Monroe. Finally, Great Republic departed at 14:12 empty to load iron ore pellets in Two Harbors. As of Wednesday night, Federal Yukina was waiting at Port Terminal to load petroleum coke at SMET after American Century and Paul R. Tregurtha. American Century is expected early Thursday to load coal at SMET. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected mid-morning to also load coal at SMET; she may anchor on arrival. ATB Clyde S. VanEnkevort and Erie Trader are expected early Thursday afternoon to load iron ore pellets at CN#6.
Superior Entry: John D. Leitch departed at 21:39 (CST) Tuesday night with iron ore pellets for Quebec City. Stewart J. Cort arrived from anchor at 22:25 to load at BNSF; she departed at 15:37 Wednesday afternoon for Burns Harbor. As of Wednesday night, no vessels were in port on the Superior side. The next arrival for BNSF, Algoma Discovery, isn’t expected until Saturday.

American Integrity arrived Two Harbors on 6/28 at 06:28 and departed 6/28 at 20:37 for Conneaut. Whitefish Bay arrived Two Harbors on 6/28 at 12:15 and departed 6/29 at 08:53 for Quebec City. Oakglen arrived Two Harbors on 6/29 at 09:13 and departed 6/30 for Quebec City. Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader arrived Northshore Mining in Silver Bay on 6/29 and departed 6/30 about 09:00 for Toledo.

The ore dock in Marquette will see a busy July 4th weekend. American Mariner was due in Wednesday. Also due Wednesday was the Hon James L. Oberstar. Finally, the Erie Trader made a visit to the lower harbor Wednesday. Lee A Tregurtha is scheduled for a Thursday evening arrival while H. Lee White is scheduled for a Friday afternoon arrival.

Port Inland: Monday; 19:21 Arthur M Anderson arrived to load limestone and departed Tuesday at 5:30 for Grand Haven. 6:03 Joseph L Block arrived to load limestone and departed at 22:14 for Indiana Harbor.
Wednesday; 14:19 Saginaw arrived to load limestone. 17:36 Wilfred Sykes arrived and went to anchor.
Charlevoix: Wednesday; 13:11 Caroline McKee / Commander arrived to load cement products.
Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports
Tug John Marshall arrived from Calumet Harbor at 05:06 Wednesday (06/30). After trading three empty barges for three loaded ones at the COFCO elevator, she cleared for Calumet Harbor at 07:29. Baie Comeau arrived at 11:29 with deicing salt from Morton, Windsor. She joined Isadora in south slip one, outer harbor, and dropped her cargo on the open dock. Baie Comeau carries about 29,000 metric tons at Seaway draft.

Meldrum Bay: Wednesday; 8:25 Algoma Innovator arrived to load limestone.
Calcite: Wednesday; 4:25 John J Boland departed down bound on Lake Huron.
Stoneport: Tuesday; 21:17 Dorothy Ann / Pathfinder arrived to load limestone and departed Wednesday at 6:15 for Detroit. 17:05 Manitowoc arrived to load limestone.
Alpena: Wednesday; 3:40 The cement carrier Alpena arrived to load and departed at 12:23 for Green Bay.

Marblehead: Herbert C. Jackson arrived at 07:05.
Lorain: Herbert C. Jackson departed for Marblehead at 04:46.
Cleveland: Fortunagracht departed late Tuesday night. Manitou arrived from Port Huron at 04:03. Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson arrived at 07:00 and was assisted by the tug Manitou into the Cuyahoga River. They proceeded to the Cliffs stone dock. Cuyahoga arrived at 11:10 for Ontario Stone. She unloaded and departed for Calcite at 18:31. Karen Andrie arrived at 12:49. Prentiss Brown/St. Mary’s Challenger arrived from Toledo at 16:33 for the St. Marys Columbus St. terminal.
Nanticoke: CSL Tadoussac arrived at 14:33 and Algoma Intrepid at 15:31. Both were at Stelco. Algonova and Algonorth were still at Imperial Oil.
