Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: James R. Barker departed at 19:50 (CST) Wednesday night with iron ore pellets for Toledo. Wilfred Sykes arrived at 01:45 Thursday morning to unload limestone at Graymont. John G. Munson arrived at 02:25 to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5. Algoma Discovery arrived at 13:26 to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. American Century arrived at 15:04 to load coal at SMET. John G. Munson departed at 17:20 empty for Two Harbors. As of Thursday night, Edgar B. Speer was loading at CN#6, Wilfred Sykes was loading at the CN#6 gravity dock, and Algoma Discovery was waiting on the east side of CN#6. Edgar B. Speer is estimated to depart sometime Thursday night with iron ore pellets; Wilfred Sykes is also estimated to depart Thursday night, but with sinter feed. American Century is estimated to depart early Friday with coal.

Superior Entry: No traffic has taken place on the Superior side since the last report. As of Thursday night, Burns Harbor was loading at BNSF, and American Century was loading at SMET. Burns Harbor is estimated to depart Thursday night with iron ore pellets; CSL Assiniboine will arrive once they depart. CSL Tadoussac is expected to anchor later Thursday night along with Michipicoten, both due at BNSF. Finally, Capt. Henry Jackman will also arrive and anchor Friday mid-morning.

Two Harbors – Scott Bjorklund
Edwin H. Gott departed at 00:13 (CST) Thursday morning with iron ore pellets for Gary. As of Thursday night, no vessels were in port. Spruceglen is expected Thursday night to load iron ore pellets at CN. John G. Munson, coming from Duluth, may anchor outside or arrive and wait Thursday night also.Silver Bay – Scott Bjorklund
Hon. James L. Oberstar departed at 21:27 (CST) Wednesday night with sinter feed for Burns Harbor. No vessels were in port Thursday night, and none are expected until Monday.

Thunder Bay, ON
Thursday; 0:06 Algoma Equinox arrived at the Superior Elevator to load grain. 7:00 Isabelle G shifted from the MobilEx Terminal to the Superior Elevator to Finish loading with grain.17:43 The saltie Lake Erie departed for Montreal.

Marquette, MI – Arthur Pickering
September 2nd:  The American Mariner arrived at ore dock Thursday morning. John J. Boland is scheduled for arrival early Monday morning followed by the Hon James Oberstar.  On Wednesday, the Herbert C Jackson is scheduled for a Wednesday arrival.

St. Marys River
Paul R. Tregurtha was downbound in the morning. That was followed by a day-long stretch with no traffic in the river. Maumee/Victory were upbound in the late evening for Algoma.

Northern Lake Michigan
Port Inland: Thursday; 7:33  Lee A Tregurtha departed for Ashtabula. 17:46 Great Republic arrived to load limestone.
Charlevoix: Thursday 10:20 Caroline McKee / Commander departed and is down bound on Lake Michigan.

Holland, MI – Bill Van Appledorn
Arriving from Meldrum Bay, the Cuyahoga entered Lake Macatawa at 20:17 Thursday and arrived at Verplank’s dock at 20:53 to unload aggregate.

Southern Lake Michigan
Stewart J. Cort spent Thursday unloading at Burns Harbor. Drawsko continued her unload, while Vectis Progress departed for the Seaway. Federal Bering is due at Burns Harbor early Friday. American Spirit arrived at Gary Thursday evening.

Northern Lake Huron
Meldrum Bay: Wednesday; Cuyahoga arrived to load limestone and departed at 16:29 for Holland. Thursday: 15:10 Kaye E Barker arrived to load limestone.
Port Dolomite: Thursday 12:44 Manitoulin arrived to load limestone.
Calcite: Wednesday; 21:41 Joseph L Block arrived to load limestone. Thursday; 2:58 H Lee White arrived to load limestone. 13:57 Joseph L Block departed for Indiana Harbor.
Stoneport: Thursday; 2:52 Herbert C Jackson departed for Milwaukee.12:36 Manitowoc arrived to load limestone.
Alpena: Wednesday; 21:29 G L Ostrander / Integrity arrived to load cement products. Thursday 0:34 Manitowoc arrived at the Lafarge plant to unload and departed at 9:23 for Stoneport.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Saginaw arrived 10.42 pm Wednesday and at elevators. 1st appearance for Saginaw in Goderich this season. Algoma Innovator arrived 1.51 pm loading at Compass Minerals.  This is Innovator’s 13th appearance this season. Algoma Intrepid and Algoma Compass expected next. Algoma Conveyor backed out at Sarnia elevators downbound for Toledo loaded with grain

Lake Erie Ports for Thursday – Bill Kloss
Sandusky:  CSL Niagara arrived at 12:45 to load at Norfolk Southern.
Cleveland:  Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder departed Wednesday night for Detroit.  American Courage is back on the shuttles. Indiana Harbor arrived at the Bulk Terminal at 12:05. Sam Laud arrived at 13:05 and went to Allied Road Products to unload. Fairport Harbor:  John J. Boland arrived at Osborne at 11:25.
Nanticoke:  CSL Niagara left late Wednesday night for Sandusky.  Frontenac arrived at Stelco at 03:24, unloaded and left at 13:25.
