Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Great Republic departed at 11:36 (CST) Saturday morning with iron ore pellets for Gary. Joseph L. Block departed at 13:18 with blast furnace trim for Indiana Harbor. As of Saturday night, Ebroborg was anchored off Duluth waiting to load wheat at CHS. Mesabi Miner is expected Saturday night to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Ebroborg is expected to arrive from anchor early Sunday evening to load wheat at CHS.
Superior Entry: John D. Leitch departed at 21:42 (CST) Friday night with iron ore pellets for Quebec City. Whitefish Bay arrived at 22:14 to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. As of Saturday night, Whitefish Bay was loading at BNSF. CSL Tadoussac sat at anchor waiting to load after Whitefish Bay. Whitefish Bay is estimated to depart Saturday night with iron ore pellets; CSL Tadoussac is expected to arrive once they depart. Stewart J. Cort is expected early Sunday to load at BNSF. American Integrity is expected late morning to load at BNSF. Manitoulin is expected late Sunday to also load at BNSF.

Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Burns Harbor departed Two Harbors on 9/11 at 04:06 for Burns Harbor. CSL Welland arrived Two Harbors at 05:39 for South of #2 where at 17:30 on 9/11 she is still loading. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay will see the arrival of the Algoma Conveyor on 9/11 at approx. 18:00. Neither port has any traffic scheduled for 9/12.

Holland, MI – Bill Van Appledorn
Arriving from Meldrum Bay, ON, the Calumet entered Lake Macatawa at 19:30 and was at Verplank’s dock at 21:00 to unload aggregate.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
No traffic to report.  Goderich has hosted 121 vessels thus far this season.

Lake Erie Ports for Saturday – Bill Kloss
Monroe:  Paul R.Tregurtha departed for Superior at 03:00.
Sandusky:  CSL Laurentian arrived at 06:45. Algoma Niagara arrived at 12:39 and went to anchor.
Lorain:  CCG Limnos arrived at 18:58.
Cleveland:   Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader departed at 05:12. James R. Barker arrived at the Bulk Terminal at 05:44. She unloaded and departed for Silver Bay at 15:58.
Ashtabula:  Elbeborg left for Green Bay.
Conneaut:   Indiana Harbor departed at 10:17. Walter J. McCarthy departed at 12:52.
Erie:  Victory/Maumee arrived at 15:15.
Nanticoke:  Algoma Sault left at 02:32 for Clarkson.  CSL Laurentian left for Sandusky. CSL Niagara arrived at 02:54, unloaded and  departed at 19:33. Algosea, Algocanada and Edwin H. Gott were anchored off of Port Dover.

Buffalo, NY – Brian Wroblewski
NACC Capri came in from Port Colborne with a load of cement for the Lafarge plant on the 9th of September. She was towed upriver stern first by the Vermont at 8 AM. The Capri was done unloading on the morning of the 10th and departed bow first at 7 AM. Out near Point Abino, she passed the inbound State of Michigan on one whistle. The Michigan then came in to tie up at the Visiting Ship’s Dock at the Erie Basin around 9:30 AM. She spent the day at the wall before they dropped the lines around 8 PM. The ship moved slightly ahead into the Watson Basin, winded off the USS Little Rock, and departed at 8:30 for Belle Isle.
