Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Ebroborg departed at 22:25 (CST) Monday night with wheat for Ravenna, Italy. Paul R. Tregurtha departed at 08:25 Tuesday morning with low sulfur coal for St. Clair. Algoma Discovery arrived at 18:36 to anchor in the inner harbor, waiting to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. John G. Munson departed at 23:07 with iron ore pellets for Gary. Clyde S. VanEnkevort and Erie Trader arrived at 23:27 to unload limestone at Graymont; they departed at 12:36 Wednesday afternoon empty for Silver Bay. As of Wednesday afternoon, Algoma Discovery was loading at CN#6. Algoma Discovery is estimated to depart sometime Wednesday night with iron ore pellets. Federal Churchill is expected late in the evening to unload cement at CRH. American Century is expected mid-afternoon Thursday to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Finally, Kaye E. Barker is expected in the evening to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5.
Superior Entry: American Integrity departed at 11:16 (CST) Tuesday morning with iron ore pellets for Conneaut. Michipicoten arrived at 11:27 to load at BNSF; they departed at 18:01 with iron ore pellets for Sault Ste. Marie. Indiana Harbor arrived at 18:45 to load at BNSF. Walter J. McCarthy Jr. arrived at 19:42 to wait at Lakehead Pipeline. Indiana Harbor departed at 14:27 Wednesday afternoon with iron ore pellets. CSL Niagara arrived at 14:48 to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. As of Wednesday afternoon, Walter J. McCarthy Jr. was waiting at Lakehead Pipeline and CSL Niagara was loading at BNSF. CSL Niagara is estimated to depart early Thursday with iron ore pellets. Walter J. McCarthy Jr. should shift over once they depart.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Presque Isle arrived Two Harbors at 01:00 on 9/15 for North of #2. It shifted to South of #2 from 05:08 to 05:29. It probably took on at least 10,000 tons at the pocket dock. She then departed at 12:52 for Gary. Edwin H. Gott arrived Two Harbors at 16:09 for South of #2. Due Two Harbors on 9/16 are the Manitoulin, Atlantic Huron, and the Edgar B. Speer. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the arrival of the Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader at 16:42.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Innovator cleared 7.18 am Wednesday for Fisher Harbour with salt. Innovator’s 14 th appearance this season for salt. Algoma Sault arrived 7.51 am Wednesday loading at Compass Minerals.
Lake Erie Ports for Wednesday – Bill Kloss
Monroe: Sam Laud arrived at 05:57 to unload at DTE. She left for Stoneport at 12:41.
Marblehead: Olive L. Moore/Menominee departed at 10;12. Sharon MI/Huron Spirit
Sandusky: CSL Laurentian arrived at 02:03 to load coal at Norfolk Southern.
Lorain: Cuyahoga arrived late Tuesday night to unload at Amcor. Olive L. Moore/Menominee arrived at 13:54 to unload at LaFarge.
Cleveland: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder left at 02:12 with salt for Milwaukee. McKeil Spirit departed for Picton at 05:21.
Nanticoke: Whitefish Bay arrived at Stelco at 04:11. She departed for Windsor at 11:46. Algosea arrived at 12:25 and joined fleetmate Algocanada at Imperial Oil. CSL Tadoussac arrived at 19:41 for Stelco and Algoma Niagara was at anchor.
