Western Lake Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: John G. Munson arrived at 22:24 (CST) Thursday night to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5. Edenborg departed at 14:46 Friday afternoon with beet pulp pellets for Morocco. Federal Ruhr arrived at 15:04 to unload mining equipment at Port Terminal. As of Friday afternoon, Federal Ruhr was unloading at Port Terminal and John G. Munson was loading at CN#6. John G. Munson is estimated to depart early Saturday with iron ore pellets. Mesabi Miner is expected early morning to load iron ore pellets at CN#6.

Superior Entry: Manitoulin arrived at 16:58 (CST) Thursday afternoon to load at BNSF; they departed at 00:13 Friday morning with iron ore pellets for Sault Ste. Marie. Walter J. McCarthy Jr. arrived at 04:27 to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. As of Friday afternoon, McCarthy was loading at BNSF. Walter J. McCarthy Jr. is estimated to depart late Friday with iron ore pellets.

Two Harbors: Victory and Maumee departed at 22:02 (CST) Thursday night with iron ore pellets for Sault Ste. Marie. Atlantic Huron arrived at 22:34 to load iron ore pellets at CN. As of Friday afternoon, Atlantic Huron was preparing to depart with iron ore pellets. Indiana Harbor is expected early afternoon Saturday to load iron ore pellets at CN. Michipicoten is expected late evening to also load iron ore pellets at CN.

Silver Bay: Algoma Strongfield arrived at 00:39 (CST) Friday morning to load at Northshore Mining; they departed at 14:40 with iron ore pellets for Quebec City. As of Friday afternoon, no vessels were in port and none are expected in the next two days.

Thunder Bay, ON
Friday; 0:18 Tim S Dool arrived at the Superior Elevator to load grain. 7:41 CSL St Laurent arrived at Viterra A to load wheat. Blair McKeil shifted to the Richardson Current River Terminal to finish loading. 13:26 Greenwing weighed anchor and proceeded to the Richardson Main Terminal to load grain.18:15 Eider finished loading at G3  and proceeded to the main anchorage. 18:23 Blair McKeil departed for Port Cartier.18:37 Captain Henry Jackman arrived at the G3 elevator to load grain.

Northern Lake Michigan
Port Inland: Friday; 0:20 Great Republic departed for Detroit.
Charlevoix: Thursday; 19:01 Petite Forte / St Marys Cement departed for Toronto. Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Challenger shifted to the loading dock and departed Friday at 15:42 for Grand Haven.

Port Dolomite: Thursday; 20:45  Herbert C Jackson departed for Grand Haven. 21:46 Michipicoten arrived to load limestone and departed Friday at 9:12 for Algoma Steel, Sault Ste Marie. .
Calcite: Friday; 15:17 John J Boland arrived to load limestone. 18:45 H Lee White arrived to load limestone.
Stoneport: Thursday; 20:45 Sam Laud departed for Belle River.
Alpena: Friday; 12:52 Defiance / Ashtabula arrived at the Lafarge plant to unload.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Intrepid cleared 6.20 am Friday upbound for Chicago with salt.

Lake Erie Ports for Friday – Bill Kloss
Monroe:  After delivering a partial load to St. Clair, James R. Barker arrived Thursday night to deliver the remaining cargo to DTE. She left for Duluth at 07:22. New York/Double Skin 509A arrived from Detroit at 10:34. Harvest Spirit departed at 14:36.
Marblehead:  American Courage loaded and left for Cleveland at 07:03. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived to load at 07:36.
Cleveland:   Calumet left late Thursday night for Detroit. American Century left for Duluth. Prentiss Brown/St. Mary’s Challenger left for Toledo at 04:37. American Courage arrived at 10:36 with stone for Osborne’s lower dock The tug Manitou arrived from Port Huron at 11:42 and left at 20:00. BBC St. Petersburg arrived at 11:12 and went to dock 22E at the Port. Kristen Joelle arrived at 15:58 and Corps of Engineers tug Demolen arrived at 19:20. Both tugs went to the Great Lakes Shipyard.
Erie:  Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder left Thursday evening for Marblehead.
Nanticoke:  Algonorth departed for Sarnia on Thursday.  Edwin H. Gott arrived at Stelco at 11:07. Olive L. Moore/Menominee arrived 8 minutes behind the Gott and had to anchor off of Port Dover. Algoma Sault is at Stelco.
