Mississagi scrap tow to leave Sarnia Friday morning
Sarnia, ON – Tug Anglian Lady from Sault Ste. Marie, ON, arrived at Sarnia Thursday to tow Mississagi from the North Slip in Point Edward to Sault Ste. Marie for scrapping. The tow was expected to leave Friday morning.

Injured Federal Elbe crew member expected to recover
Port Colborne, ON – The crew member who was injured while being lowered from the Federal Elbe in Port Colborne when the rope parted on the boom has had surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
Ships use their landing boom to swing crew members ashore when the vessel is moving in order to handle the mooring lines on tie up walls. They then climb back onboard using a ladder once the ship has stopped and been secured.
