Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Michipicoten arrived at 15:15 (CST) Friday afternoon to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. As of Friday afternoon, Michipicoten was loading at CN#6, and Heerengracht was unloading at Port Terminal Spot #2. Michipicoten is estimated to depart Friday night with iron ore pellets. Heerengracht is also estimated to depart Friday night. American Century is expected Saturday mid-morning to load low sulfur coal at SMET. Mesabi Miner is expected mid-afternoon to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. American Century is estimated to depart late-evening with low sulfur coal. Finally, tug Victory and barge Maumee are expected Saturday night to load wheat at General Mills, Superior.
Superior Entry: CSL Tadoussac arrived at 05:05 (CST) Friday morning to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. As of Friday afternoon, CSL Tadoussac was still loading at BNSF. Tadoussac is estimated to depart Friday evening with iron ore pellets. Indiana Harbor is expected Saturday evening to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors- Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Joseph L. Block departed Two Harbors on 10/8 at 15:30 showing a Toledo destination. A rare unloading port for a Two Harbors cargo. There is no scheduled traffic for Two Harbors on 10/9. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the Walter J. McCarthy Jr. arrive on 10/8 at 17:01. There is no inbound traffic scheduled for Silver Bay on 10/9.
Thunder Bay, ON
Thursday; 20:25 Federal Ruhr weighed anchor and proceeded to the Richardson Main Terminal to load grain. 22:08 Cuyahoga departed for Sarnia. Friday; 4:10 Evans Spirit arrived at the Richardson Current River Terminal to load grain. 7:39 Algoma Transport arrived at Thunder Bay Terminals to load coal and departed at 19:08 for Detroit.

Marquette October 8th: The next scheduled arrival to the ore dock here Marquette will be the American Spirit scheduled for a late Sunday morning arrival. The Kaye Barker is scheduled for a very early Monday morning arrival.

Calcite: Friday; 3:15 H Lee White departed for Fairport. 8:37 American Mariner departed for the Saginaw River.
Stoneport: Friday; 0:38 Joyce L Van Enkevort / Great Lakes Trader arrived to load limestone and departed at 18:46 for Ashtabula.
Alpena: Fr5iday; 13:33 The cement carrier Alpena departed for Essexville. 18:26 Samuel De Champlain / Innovation arrived at the Lafarge plant to load cement products.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Buffalo cleared 3.39 pm Friday downbound with salt. Algoma Guardian arrived 6.20 pm Friday tied up in basin against North Wall. Guardian’s second time this season. Algoma Compass still expected next.
Lake Erie Ports for Friday – Bill Kloss
Marblehead: Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson arrived late Thursday night, loaded and left for Cleveland at 11:05. American Courage arrived from Cleveland at 11:18.
Sandusky: Herbert C. Jackson departed at 01:11 for Zug Island. Algoma Niagara arrived at 10:35 to load coal at Norfolk Southern.
Lorain: Algoma Intrepid arrived from Thunder Bay at 11:58 to unload potash at Amcor. She left for Oswego at 16:55.
Cleveland: American Courage departed for Marblehead at 01:53. McKeil Spirit arrived at 09:57 to unload at Lehigh Cement. NACC Capri unloaded at LaFarge and departed for Bath, ON at 11:30. Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson arrived from Marblehead at 15:53 to unload at RiverDock. Federal Delta departed for Thunder Bay at 17:21.
