Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Radcliffe R. Latimer arrived at 00:57 (CST) Monday morning to load petroleum coke at SMET. Paul R. Tregurtha departed at 01:32 with low sulfur coal for St. Clair. James R. Barker arrived at 07:28 to wait at Port Terminal for the Latimer to clear SMET. Once the Latimer departed at 12:22 with petroleum coke for Port Daniel, the Barker shifted to load low sulfur coal at SMET. Indiana Harbor departed at 19:27 with iron ore pellets. As of Monday night, no vessels were in port on the Duluth side. James R. Barker is estimated to depart late Monday night with low sulfur coal.
Superior Entry: No vessel traffic has taken place since the last report. As of Monday night, James R. Barker was loading at SMET. Frontenac is expected early Tuesday morning to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors- Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Edwin H. Gott departed Two Harbors on 10/18 at 03:54 for Gary. Due Two Harbors on 10/18 between 20:00 and 21:00 is the Presque Isle. There is no scheduled inbound traffic for Two Harbors on 10/19. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the departure of the Mesabi Miner on 10/18 at 08:12 for Cleveland. Due Silver Bay either late on 10/18 or early on 10/19 is the Lee A. Tregurtha. There is no other traffic due Silver Bay on 10/19.

Manitoulin Island ferry Chi-Cheemaun was upbound Monday late afternoon for Thunder Bay, where she will receive her five-year inspection/repairs.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Compass cleared 8.55 am Monday for Green Bay with salt.
Toledo, OH
Detroit Princess has arrived at Toledo for her five-year survey.
Lake Erie Ports for Monday – Bill Kloss
Marblehead: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived at 11:44 to load for Cleveland.
Sandusky: CSL Niagara arrived at 01:20 and went to anchor. She went to the dock at 12:20 to load coal.
Lorain: Defiance/Ashtabula departed for Calcite at 05:47.
Cleveland: Sam Laud arrived at 12:08 and went to anchor. At 13:32, she went to Ontario Stone to unload, then she departed at 20:30. Petite Forte/St. Mary’s Cement departed for Bowmanville at 13:54. Sharon MI/Huron Spirit left for Sault Ste. Marie at 16:09. American Courage departed for Marblehead at 16:23. The training ship State of Michigan left for Detroit at 18:18.
Ashtabula: Robert S. Pierson arrived at 08:00.
Conneaut: American Integrity arrived at 07:14 to unload at the P&C dock. She unloaded and departed at 19:34.
Erie: American Mariner arrived at 17:29 to unload stone at Carmeuse.
Nanticoke: Algonova departed for Montreal at 06:46 and Whitefish Bay left for Meldrum Bay at 00:46. Algosea arrived at Imperial Oil at 03:11 and fleet mate Algocanada arrived at 16:08.
Seaway – Jeff Cameron
Two new Navibulgar bulkers, Kom (IMO 9905708) and Bogdan (IMO 9905710), are both enroute to the lakes after entering service and loading steel products in Caofeidian, China and Pyeongtaek, South Korea. Kom departed South Korea on October 2nd and Bogdan departed on October 11th bound for Hamilton (eta mid-late November).
