Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Stewart J. Cort arrived at 01:23 (CST) Wednesday morning to take a delay at Port Terminal. Victory/Maumee arrived at 16:33 Thursday afternoon to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. As of Thursday evening, Stewart J. Cort was still taking a delay at Port Terminal while Victory/Maumee loaded at CN#6 gravity loader. American Integrity is expected Thursday night to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Victory/Maumee is estimated to depart early Friday with iron ore pellets. Defiance/Ashtabula is expected early Friday to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5. Finally, Fivelborg is expected mid-morning to load beet pulp pellets at Gavilon.
Superior Entry: Algoma Sault arrived at 03:35 (CST) Wednesday morning to load at BNSF; they departed at 15:30 with iron ore pellets for Quebec City. As of Thursday night, no vessels were in port on the Superior side. No vessels are expected until Saturday.
Two Harbors- Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
At 17:45 Central Time on 10/21 the Burns Harbor was still loading at South of #2 in Two Harbors. Due Two Harbors on 10/22 is the Edgar B. Speer. North Shore Mining in Silver Bay had no traffic on 10/21. Due Silver Bay on 10/22 is the CSL Assiniboine. As of 17:45 Central Time on 10/21 she was North of Isle Royale. She took the North route
Holland, MI – Bill Van Appledorn
Manitowoc entered Holland harbor at 10:04 Thurs. and arrived at Verplank’s dock at 11:15 to unload limestone.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Innovator cleared 6.51 pm Thursday upbound with salt. John D Leitch arrived 6.28 pm Thursday loading at Compass Minerals – 2nd appearance in Goderich this season. Algoma Buffalo expected next.
Lake Erie Ports for Thursday – Bill Kloss
Marblehead: Manitoulin left at 01:04. American Courage departed at 18:30.
Sandusky: Algoma Conveyor Kaye E. Barker arrived to load at 02:18. She left for Zug Island at 12:53.
Cleveland: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder finished running the shuttles and moved to Cargill to load salt. Mesabi Miner arrived at 08:52 to unload at the Bulk Terminal. Arriving at 10:36 was Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson to unload at Cliffs. Indiana Harbor arrived at 18:30 and went to anchor to wait for Mesabi Miner to finish her offload. Federal Satsuki is still at the Port.
