Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: American Integrity arrived at 22:15 (CST) Thursday night to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Victory/Maumee departed at 02:39 Friday morning with iron ore pellets for Sault Ste. Marie. Defiance/Ashtabula arrived at 04:41 to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5. American Integrity departed at 06:42 Saturday morning with iron ore pellets for Conneaut. As of Saturday afternoon, no vessels were in port on the Duluth side. Walter J. McCarthy Jr. is expected Saturday evening to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. H. Lee White is expected early Sunday to load petroleum coke at SMET. Algoma Innovator is expected late morning to unload salt at Envirotech-Hallett #8; they will be shifting to load iron ore pellets at BNSF on departure. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected late evening to load low sulfur coal at SMET.
Superior Entry: Stewart J. Cort departed at 04:30 (CST) Friday morning with iron ore pellets for Burns Harbor. Fivelborg arrived at 07:18 to load beet pulp pellets at Gavilon. Defiance/Ashtabula departed at 09:17 Saturday morning with iron ore pellets for Sault Ste. Marie. American Spirit arrived from anchor at 09:50 to load at BNSF. As of Saturday afternoon, Fivelborg was loading at Gavilon and American Spirit was loading at BNSF. American Spirit is estimated to depart mid-morning Sunday with iron ore pellets. Mesabi Miner is expected late evening to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors- Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Two Harbors saw the departure of the Edgar B. Speer on 10/23 at 04:41 for Gary. Edwin H. Gott arrived Two Harbors on 10/23 at 18:50 for South of #2. Due Two Harbors on 10/24 is the Michipicoten. She was originally scheduled for Marquette, but was switched to Two Harbors. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the departure of the of the CSL Assiniboine on 10/22 at 19:40 for Quebec City. Arriving Silver Bay on 10/23 were both the Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader at 02:50 and the American Century at 05:20. There is no inbound traffic due Silver Bay on 10/24.
Thunder Bay, ON
Friday; 23:19 Ojibway arrived at the Richardson Main Terminal. Saturday; 0:10 The CSL self unloader Thunder Bay arrived at Thunder Bay Terminals to load coal. 7:09 The saltie Wigeon arrived and went to anchor. 15:02 Thunder Bay departed for Sydney NS. 16:09 Ojibway departed for Sorel. 16:38 Federal Shimanto weighed anchor and proceeded to Thunder Bay Terminals to load.

Port Inland: Saturday 11:40 Cuyahoga arrived to load limestone.
Charlevoix: Saturday; 0:50 Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Challenger departed for Chicago.1:02 Prentiss Brown / St Marys Conquest arrived to load cement products and departed at 7:01 for Toledo.
Holland, MI – Bill Van Appledorn
Great Republic entered port Sat. at 3:03 AM and docked at Verplank’s at 4:15 to unload limestone. It later moved on to Brewer’s for a split load. It left port at 11:41.
Northern Lake Huron
McGregor Bay: Saturday Algoma Intrepid arrived at Fischer Harbour to unload road salt.
Meldrum Bay: Saturday; 4:46 CSL Niagara departed for Nanticoke.
Bruce Mines: Saturday; 6:06 Manitoulin departed at 23:05 for Chicago.
Cheboygan: Saturday; 15:47 The tug Michigan and tanker barge Great Lakes arrived at the US Oil Co terminal to unload petroleum products.
Calcite: Saturday; 1:10 Joseph L Block arrived to load limestone and departed at 16:31 for Buffington.
Alpena: Saturday; 12:31 G L Ostrander / Integrity arrived at the Lafarge plant to load cement products.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
John D Leitch cleared 1.14 am Friday upbound for Chicago with salt. Algoma Intrepid cleared 4.27 am Saturday upbound for Fisher Harbour with salt. Algoma Buffalo loading at Compass Minerals. Next lakeboat will mark 150 th hosted in Goderich this season..
Lake Erie Ports for Saturday – Bill Kloss
Monroe: Herbert C. Jackson loaded bottom ash and departed for Alpena at 09:10.
Cleveland: American Mariner departed at 10:48 for Calcite. Petite Forte/St. Mary’s Cement arrived at 10:48 to unload at the Jefferson St. terminal. Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson departed for Drummond Island.
Nanticoke: Departures were Presque Isle at 08:01, Algoma Hansa at 14:53 and Frontenac at 18:43. Arrivals were Algoma Transport at 12:49 and Algonorth at 14:52.
