Burns Harbor departed Two Harbors on 10/29 at 22:52 for Indiana Harbor. The Edgar B. Speer arrived Two Harbors on 10/29 at 23:28 after she was stopped off Two Harbors. She departed Two Harbors on 10/30 for Gary. Arriving Two Harbors on 10/30 at 17:45 was the Edwin H. Gott. Possibly due Two Harbors on 10/31 is the Walter J. McCarthy Jr. Due Northshore Mining in Silver Bay either late on 10/30 or early on 10/31 is the Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader.

Saturday; 9:20 Kaministiqua arrived at the Richardson Main Terminal to load wheat. 15:28 RT. Hon Paul J Martin fished loading at Viterra A and went to anchor off of the Current River entrance.16:03 Federal Freedom shifted to the main anchorage.17:50 Algoma Strongfield departed for Quebec City. 18:50 The saltie Solina finished unloading at Keefer Terminal and departed for Duluth.
St. Marys River
Upbound traffic on Sunday included Waltyer J. McCarthy Jr. early, Victory/Maumee (to Algoma) and Paul R. Tregurtha. Downbounders included Atlantic Huron and Stewart J. Cort, greeting the gathered Boatnerds at Mission Point with a salute.
Holland, MI – Bill Van Appledorn
Cuyahoga arrived at Holland Sat. 6:41 and docked at Verplank’s at 8:00. Later moved on to Brewer’s to unload limestone. It left port at 14:33.

Drummond Island: Saturday; 12:28 Michipicoten arrived to load limestone.
Port Dolomite: Saturday; 15:39 John G Munson arrived to load limestone.
Cheboygan: Saturday; 10:14 The tug Michigan and tanker barge Great Lakes departed for Green Bay.
Calcite: Saturday; Herbert C Jackson arrived to load limestone.
Stoneport: Saturday; 10:39 Defiance / Ashtabula arrived to load limestone. 13:11 Olive L Moore / Menominee arrived and went to anchor.
Alpena: Saturday; 17:00 The cement carrier Alpena departed for Essexville. Undaunted / Pere Marquette 41 arrived at the Lafarge plant to unload.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Federal Yukina loading at elevators. Algoma Compass cleared at 3.04 pm Saturday upbound for Fisher Harbour with salt. Compass’ 23rd appearance in Goderich this season. Algoma Transport arrived 3.48pm Saturday loading at Compass Minerals. Only second appearance for Transport this season. Algoma Sault arrived 10.18 am Saturday tied up North Pier. Sault’s 14th appearance this season. Algoma Buffalo ‘is on hook’ outside harbour. Algoma Innovator approaching – busy time !
Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Toledo: Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader arrived at 01:37, unloadedand left at 19:18. James R. Barker arrived at Torco at 13:33. CSL Niagara left for Sandusky at 13:54. Arriving at 17:20 was Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader. Polsteam’s Resko is expected on Sunday.
Sandusky: Kaye E. Barker departed with coal for Green Bay at 03:11. CSL Niagara arrived from Toledo.
Cleveland: Calumet arrived from Fairport Harbor at 06:16 and unloaded salt at Osborne. She left at 16:56 for a return trip to Fairport Harbor. McKeil Spirit is now due on Sunday as is NACC Argonaut and Wagenborg’s Beatrix. Federal Kushiro remains at the Port docks and American Courage is still on the shuttles.
Fairport Harbor: Calumet loaded salt at Morton and departed for Cleveland at 03:44. She returned from Cleveland at 19:38 to reload at Morton.
Nanticoke: Algoterra and Algoscotia are at Imperial Oil. Algoma Intrepid is due on Sunday.
Seaway – Rene Beauchamp
Four new ships are heading for various ports in the Seaway/G.L. beginning today. Octonaut for Clarkson today, Potentia for Valleyfield, Federal Frontier for Hamilton and Sloman Hestia also for Hamilton.
