Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Solina departed at 17:35 (CST) Tuesday evening with wheat for an overseas port. John G. Munson arrived at 20:23 to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5. Indiana Harbor arrived at 01:14 Wednesday morning to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Algoma Transport arrived at 05:26 to unload salt at C.Reiss Coal. John G. Munson departed at 08:02 empty to load iron ore pellets at Two Harbors. Hon. James L. Oberstar arrived at 13:29 to unload limestone at Graymont. As of Wednesday afternoon, Indiana Harbor was loading at CN#6 while Algoma Transport was making her way towards the Duluth Ship Canal outbound for Thunder Bay. Algoma Transport is estimated to depart early-evening empty. Indiana Harbor is estimated to depart early Thursday with iron ore pellets. Arthur M. Anderson is expected early Thursday as well, but to unload limestone at C.Reiss Coal. Finally, Herbert C. Jackson is expected in the evening to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5.
Superior Entry: Victory/Maumee arrived at 02:08 (CST) Wednesday morning to load at BNSF. They departed at 09:52 with iron ore pellets for Sault Ste. Marie. As of Wednesday afternoon, Hon. James L. Oberstar was unloading at Graymont. Algoma Niagara is expected mid-afternoon Thursday to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. CSL Tadoussac is expected in the evening to also load at BNSF.

Two Harbors- Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
James R. Barker arrived Two Harbors on 11/2 at 18:18 for South of # 2. She departed on 11/3 at 09:12 for Indiana Harbor. Presque Isle arrived Two Harbors on 11/3 at 05:33 for North of #2. She shifted to South of #2 between 12:29 and 12:53. As of 18:30 on 11/3 she was still at the loading dock. John G Munson arrived Two Harbors on 11/3 at 10:32 for North of #1 layby. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay still had the Mesabi Miner at the loading dock as of 18:30 on 11/3. Neither Two Harbors or Silver Bay have any inbound traffic for 11/4.

Thunder Bay, ON
Wednesday; 11:21 CSL Welland arrived at Keefer Terminal for port services. 15:35 Frontenac departed for Port Colborne. CSL Welland shifted to Viterra A to load grain.

St. Marys River
Menominee/Olive L. Moore were unloading aggregate at the site of the new Soo Lock on Wednesday. USCG Mackinaw was downbound in the afternoon headed for Lime Island to overnight and then, presumably, back to Cheboygan.

Ludington, MI
Carferry Badger departed under tow Wednesday evening for BayShip in Sturgeon Bay, WI, where she will go on the dryfock for inspection and repainting. William C Gaynor was on the bow and Donald J. Sarter was  on the stern

Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
South Chicago: Algoma Sault departed Wednesday evening after unloading at Compass Minerals’ 92nd St. dock, passing the inbound John J. Boland as it was heading to the KCBX dock from Burns Harbor.
Indiana Harbor: Joseph L. Block departed Indiana Harbor Wednesday afternoon. American Integrity was unloading at Indiana Harbor Wednesday.
Gary: Edgar B. Speer departed Gary Wednesday morning.
Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor: Wilfred Sykes and Isadora both remained in port Wednesday after arriving on Tuesday.
St. Joseph: Samuel De Champlain/Innovation remained anchored off St. Joseph Wednesday waiting on conditions. After being anchored since last week, Manitowoc shifted to Grand Haven.

Northern Lake Huron
Meldrum Bay: Tuesday; 22:12 Clyde S Van Enkevort / Erie Trader departed for Marysville. Wednesday; 1:29 Herbert C Jackson arrived to finish loading limestone and departed at 4:23 for Duluth Superior.
Port Dolomite:Tuesday 22:04 Saginaw departed for Algoma Steel Sault Ste Marie.Wednesday; 6:42 Calumet  arrived to load limestone.
Calcite: Tuesday; 20:27 Laura L Van Enkevort /  Joseph H Thompson departed for Clevland. Wednesday; 1:23 Olive L Moore / Menominee departed for the Soo lock construction site. 1:25 Dorothy Ann / Pathfinder arrived to load limestone. 2:04 H Lee White arrived to load limestone.12:28 Dorothy Ann / Pathfinder departed for the Saginaw River.
Stoneport: Wednesday; 2:13 Kaye E Barker departed for Marquette.
Alpena: Wednesday; 1:15 The cement carrier Alpena arrived at the Lafarge plant to load and departed at 7:50 for Green Bay.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Innovator cleared 6.30pm Tuesday upbound for Chicago with salt. Algoma Conveyor pulled up to Compass Minerals 8.25am Wednesday. Conveyor’s 8th appearance for salt this season. Federal Yukina cleared 2.35pm Wednesday downbound for Montreal.

Lake Erie Ports for Wednesday – Bill Kloss
Monroe:  American Century arrived with a partial load of coal for DTE.
Toledo:   Algoma Buffalo departed for Cleveland at 02:52. Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader departed at 12:07. Joyce L. VanEnkevort arrived at 13:17. Barnacle finally departed at 14:47. American Spirit arrived to unload at CSX at 18:06.
Marblehead:  American Courage arrived from Cleveland at 03:09.
Cleveland:  Beatrix left Tuesday night for Detroit. Algoma Buffalo arrived at 10:15 to load salt at Cargill.  American Courage left for Marblehead late Tuesday night.
Fairport Harbor: Defiance/Ashtabula  arrived from Alpena at 12:30..
Nanticoke:  Algonova Hinch is at anchor Algonova and  Algoma Hansa are at Imperial Oil. Edwin H. Gott arrived at Stelco at 10:37 and CSL Niagara arrived at 13:54. Later in the day,  Hinch Spirit went to Imperial and Algonova went to anchor.
