Superior – Gus Schauer
Algoma Sault loaded its cargo at the Viterra B elevator in Thunder Bay Saturday and arrived in Superior early Sunday morning to unload it at Elevator M. While the Manitoulin unloaded a similar cargo at Riverland B2 in 2017, this is the first time in decades a ship has called at Elevator M with grain. 11/28/2021.

Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Edgar B. Speer arrived Two Harbors on 11/28 at 02:20. As of 18:30 she was still at the dock. She is loading for Conneaut. The Victory/Maumee is anchored off Duluth after going to Duluth to fuel. She will load in Two Harbors after the Speer. She went to anchor off Duluth late afternoon on 11/28. Due Two Harbors on 11/29 are the Walter J. McCarthy Jr. and the Indiana Harbor. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay should see the CSL Assiniboine on 11/29.

Saturday; 13:15 BBC Europe departed for Cleveland. 13:26 The saltie Happy Rover arrived at Keefer Terminal. 14:24 Algoma Sault departed for Duluth Superior. Sunday; 0:29 Oakglen arrived at Viterra A to load grain. 11:24 Tim S Dool arrived at the Richardson Main Terminal to load grain. 16:03 The CSL self unloader Thunder Bay arrived at Thunder Bay Terminals to load coal.

Herbert C. Jackson was upbound mid-evening Sunday with a cargo of sand for the new lock project.

John G. Munson unloaded limestone from Port Inland at the Verplank Port Terminal on Monday.

Saturday; 11:32 Herbert C Jackson departed for Brevort. 12:08 G L Ostrander / Integrity departed for Green Bay. 12:22 Samuel De Champlain / Innovation arrived at the Lafarge plant to load cement products and departed at 18:12 for Detroit.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Federal Kumano continued at the elevators Sunday.  Algoma Innovator loading at Compass Minerals.  Algoma Buffalo and Algoma Compass expected in that order.

St. Clair River
Wilfred Sykes remained moored at a St. Clair River dock near Marysville Sunday.

Lake Erie Ports for Sunday – Bill Kloss
Monroe:  Undaunted/Pere Marquette 41 departed for Alpena at 03:41. The Hon. James L. Oberstar arrived from Sandusky at 10:51 to unload at DTE. She departed for Marquette at 20:54. Paul R. Tregurtha is anchored with coal for DTE.
Marblehead:  Sam Laud arrived at 17:21 and went to anchor.
Sandusky:  Hon. James L. Oberstar left for Monroe at 05:24.
Cleveland:  Olive L. Moore/Menominee left late Saturday night for Stoneport. Sam Laud departed for Marblehead at 13:18.
Fairport Harbor:  Frontenac is at Morton Salt.
Ashtabula:  Morgenstond 1 departed at 11:26.
Conneaut:  American Integrity arrived at 09:58 and went to anchor.
Nanticoke:   Algoscotia is at Imperial Oil.

Seaway – Janey Anderson
Two more Canadian-flagged ships will leave for Setúbal, Portugal early January 2021for their five-year-inspection and repairs. They are Algoscotia (oil tanker) and NACC Quebec (cement carrier).

Seaway – Rene Beauchamp
Heavy-lift vessel Jumbo Vision will be passing through the Seaway soon. She carries a tunnel boring machine on board for the Scarborough, ON, metro. She is expected at the port of Oshawa around December 8, her last visit was in 2012.
