Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Edgar B. Speer departed at 16:50 (CST) Tuesday afternoon with iron ore pellets for Conneaut. Walter J. McCarthy Jr. departed at 21:00 with low sulfur coal for St. Clair and Monroe. Joseph L. Block arrived at 07:38 Wednesday morning to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Arthur M. Anderson departed at 09:12 with iron ore pellets for Conneaut. As of Wednesday night, Lee A. Tregurtha was taking a delay at Port Terminal, Federal Clyde was unloading at CRH, and Joseph L. Block was loading at CN#6. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected early Thursday morning to load low sulfur coal at SMET. American Century is also expected early Thursday, but to load iron ore pellets at CN#6; they may anchor on arrival waiting to load after the Block. Joseph L. Block is estimated to depart sometime Thursday morning with iron ore pellets. Paul R. Tregurtha may depart early-afternoon with low sulfur coal.
Superior Entry: American Spirit arrived at 21:33 (CST) Tuesday night to load at BNSF. As of Wednesday night, American Spirit was still loading at BNSF. They are estimated to depart early Thursday with iron ore pellets. Burns Harbor is expected mid-morning to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
As of 14:30 0n 12/1 the Edwin H. Gott was still at South of #2 in Two Harbors. Checking the cams I don’t think she’s started the loading process yet. Arriving Two Harbors on 12/1 at 06:15 was the Presque Isle. She is at North of #2 lay-by waiting for South of # 2. The Algoma Conveyor was still anchored off Two Harbors, so she should be next in line to load. Northshore Mining in Siler Bay saw the departure of the Baie Comeau on 11/30 at 22:05 for Quebec City. Due Silver Bay either late on 12/1 or early on 12/2 is the Whitefish Bay. Also due Silver Bay was the Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lake Trader, but checking the AIS map she is at the L.S. & I. ore dock in Marquette, MI.

Monday; 3:15 Federal Churchill arrived and went to anchor. 5:57 The saltie Andean 6:18 Florence Spirit arrived at the Superior Elevator to load grain. 8:46 CSL Welland arrived at Viterra A to load grain. Tuesday; 15:30 The saltie Lyulin arrived at Thunder Bay Terminals to load. 17:11 Kaministiqua arrived at the Richardson Main Terminal to load grain. 18:18 Florence Spirit departed for Baie Comeau. 18:35 Algoma Sault arrived at the Superior Elevator to load grain. Wednesday; 9:31 The saltie Celine arrived at Keefer Terminal. Tundra arrived and went to anchor.
St. Marys River
Traffic Wednesday included the new Navbulgar saltie KOM on her maiden voyage. She is headed for Thunder Bay to load potash. The USCG Hollyhock was also upbound, headed to the Keweenaw Waterway according to her AIS.
Northern Lake Michigan
Charlevoix: Tuesday; 21:52 Prentiss Brown / St Marys Challenger departed for Toledo.
Port Inland: Tuesday; 9:25 John G Munson arrived to load limestone and departed Wednesday at 4:08 for Detroit.
Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports, Jeremy Whitman
Federal Baltic arrived off Milwaukee early Tuesday and went to anchor waiting for space at Federal Marine Terminals. Gardno vacated the slip and cleared for Burns Harbor at 21:20. Federal Baltic came in at 06:35 Wednesday (12/01) and tied up at the Federal Marine Terminals dock. She brings steel from Antwerp. USCGC Mackinaw joined Federal Baltic in south slip one for a brief visit. Mackinaw, in her role as the modern Christmas Tree Ship, is expected at Navy Pier Friday. The 1,200 Christmas trees she carries will be unloaded Saturday morning by local volunteers and distributed to deserving families throughout Chicago.

Port Dolomite: Tuesday; 2:14 Kaye E Barker departed for Grand Haven. Manitowoc proceeded to the dock to load limestone and after loading departed for Benton Harbor.
Cheboygan: Wednesday; 9:31 The tug Albert and tanker barge Margaret departed for Toledo.
Calcite: Tuesday; 17:22 H Lee White arrived to load limestone. 23:54 American Mariner departed for Lorain. Wednesday; 10:00 H Lee White departed for Detroit.
Stoneport: Tuesday; 1:03 Calumet departed for Marysville. 19:57 Olive L Moore arrived to load limestone and departed Wednesday at 1:33 for Marine City. 12:47 Calumet arrived to load limestone.
Alpena: Monday; 23:18 Undaunted / Pere Marquette 41 departed for Algoma Steel, Sault Ste. Marie.

Federal Kumano continues at elevators. Tug Dorothy Ann with barge Pathfinder cleared 9.09pm downbound for Erie with salt.
