Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Michipicoten arrived Two Harbors on 12/05 at 21:41 for South of #2. She departed on 12/06 at 09:44 for Algoma Steel. That should be the North Shore traffic for 12/06. Two Harbors should see the Edgar B. Speer arrive on 12/07. She looks to be heading for the North route. The James R. Barker is still showing a Two Harbors AIS, but as of 11:30 on 12/06, she is still anchored off Bay Mills. The Indiana Harbor was showing a North Shore Mining in Silver Bay destination, but is now showing a Duluth destination on AIS and a Two Harbors destination on Harbor Lookout.
Northern Lake Michigan
Charlevoix: Friday; 19:19 Caroline McKee / Commander arrived at the St Marys plant to load cement products and departed Saturday at 4:18 for Chicago. At 7:34 she went to anchor in Suttons Bay and departed at 12:51 for Chicago. Sunday; 13:17 Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Conquest arrived at the St Marys plant to load cement products.20:54 Prentiss Brown/ St Marys Challenger arrived to load cement products.
Port Inland: Thursday; 21:29 Kaye E Barker arrived to load limestone and departed Friday at 9:54 for Grand Haven. Saturday; 0:30 Sam Laud arrived to load limestone and departed at 10:58 for Holland.15:00 John G Munson arrived to load limestone and departed Sunday at 6:41 for Detroit. At 12:25 John G Munson went to anchor off of Mackinaw City in the South Channel for weather and departed Monday at 1:46 for Detroit.
Northern Lake HuronCalcite: Monday; 0:53 Defiance / Ashtabula departed for Buffington. 2:32 American Mariner arrived to load limestone. 12:58 Arthur M Anderson arrived and went to anchor.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Innovator cleared 2.41am Monday downbound for Becancour with salt. Adean continues at elevators.
Lake Erie Ports for Monday – Bill Kloss
Winds and waves had most boats at anchor on Lake Erie.
Kingsville: Algoma Niagara was at anchor off of Kingsville.
Marblehead: American Courage was at LaFarge.
Sandusky: Algoma Transport was at Norfolk Southern. Victory/Maumee was headed to Toledo but is anchored off of Sandusky.
Cleveland: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder, Federal Kivalina, Iryda and Sea Eagle II/St. Marys Cement II were all in port.
Fairport Harbor: Victory/Maumee departed for Toledo at 06:31.
Ashtabula: Spruceglen was at the Pinney dock. Olive L. Moore/Menominee was in port.
Erie: John J. Boland was at Carmeuse.
Nanticoke: Harbour Feature was at Imperial Oil. Algoma Hansa, Algoterra and Algonova were at anchor. Also anchored off of Port Dover were Algocanada, Sharon MI/Huron Spirit, Mia Desgagnes, Federal Nagara, Federal Churchill, Everlast/Norman McLeod and Algoma Conveyor. Algonorth arrived at 15:41 and went to anchor.
