Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: No vessel traffic has taken place since the last report. As of Tuesday night, no vessels were in port on the Duluth side. Stewart J. Cort is expected early Wednesday morning to take a delay at Port Terminal; they will eventually load iron ore pellets at BNSF. American Century is also due early morning, but to load low sulfur coal at SMET. American Integrity is expected late-morning to also load low sulfur coal at SMET, so they might anchor outside Duluth to wait.
Superior Entry:
No vessel traffic has taken place since the last report. As of Tuesday night, no vessels were in port on the Superior side. Algoma Equinox is expected Wednesday night to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
The Hon. James L. Oberstar departed Two Harbors on 12/20 at 20:30 for Indiana Harbor. Due Two Harbors on 12/21 between 19:00-20:00 is the Presque Isle. She had been anchored near Marquette waiting on weather. Also due Two Harbors on 12/22 is the Edgar B. Speer that had been anchored in Whitefish Bay. Due Northshore Mining in Silver Bay on 12/22 is the Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader. She had been anchored in Whitefish Bay waiting on weather.
Thunder Bay, ON
Sunday; 23:16 Algoma Harvester departed for Quebec City. Monday; 18:17 Kaministiqua departed for Sorel. Tuesday; 1:15 Saginaw departed for Toledo. 6:57 Algoma Guardian arrived at the Superior Elevator to load grain.Whitefish Bay shifted from Viterra A to the Midcontinent Terminal.
Northern Lake Michigan
Charlevoix:Tuesday; 2:11 Caroline McKee / Commander arrived at the St Marys plant to load cement products and departed at 14:27 for Chicago. Prentiss Brown / St Marys Challenger arrived at 9:22 and tied up along the break wall and at 15:48 departed for Suttons Bay to anchor. 16:03 Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Conquest arrived at the St Marys plant to load cement products .
Brevort: Monday; 18:18 Defiance and Ashtabula arrived to load processed sand and departed Tuesday at 17:20 for Buffalo.
Milwaukee, WI
Walter J. McCarthy Jr. made an unplanned visit to Milwaukee Tuesday for a medical evac. The Milwaukee Fire Department’s heavy rescue team took a crewman off due to a back injury, and likely transported him with an MFD ambulance to a local hospital. The McCarthy Jr. continued her trip to Two Harbors as soon as the crewman was safely ashore.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Compass cleared 03:21 Tuesday morning downbound for Cleveland with salt. Sunda clearted 08:32 Tuesday downbound for Cote St Catherines with grain and will top-up there.

Spragge Harbour:Monday; 23:40 John D Leitch departed for Thunder Bay.
Meldrum Bay: Monday 10:53 Manitowoc arrived to load limestone and departed Tuesday at 8:15 for Holland.
Cheboygan: Wednesday; 9:31 The tug Albert and tanker barge Margaret departed for Sarnia. Tuesday; 7:42 The tug Michigan and tanker barge Great Lakes arrived at the US Oil Co terminal to unload petroleum products and departed at 16:46 for Green Bay.
Stoneport: Sunday; 20:06 Olive L Moore / Menominee departed for Sombra. Monday;10:03 Sam Laud arrived to load limestone and departed Tuesday at 2:05 for Marysville.
Alpena: Sunday 22:40 G L Ostrander / Integrity departed for Green Bay.

Tuesday morning, tugs moved Cason J. Callaway from berth 2 to outboard of the Roger Blough, possibly in anticipation of boats coming in for winter layup.
Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
South Chicago: Algoma Intrepid departed Tuesday morning after unloading at Compass Minerals’ 92nd St. dock. Federal Elbe shifted to South Chicago from Burns Harbor, arriving early in the morning.
Indiana Harbor: Wilfred Sykes departed early Tuesday morning for Burns Harbor. Mesabi Miner arrived later in the morning to unload.
Gary: Great Republic arrived early Tuesday afternoon, departing for Two Harbors Tuesday night.
Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor: Federal Elbe departed early Tuesday morning for South Chicago. Wilfred Sykes arrived later in the morning.
Muskegon: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived early Tuesday morning after having been anchored off of Burns Harbor, Indiana.

Marblehead: Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson arrived at 14:57 to load at LaFarge.
Sandusky: Victory/ Maumee departed at 07:53 with coal for Sault Ste. Marie. Kaye E. Barker loaded for Monroe and departed at 18:16.
Cleveland: Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson left at 10:11 for another trip to Marblehead. Chestnut is at the Port and American Courage is running shuttles. Due in are Sharon M1/Huron Spirit, Algoma Compass and Algoma Buffalo.
Ashtabula: Algoma Niagara arrived at 08:35.
Conneaut: Indiana Harbor departed for Two Harbors at 05:04.
Nanticoke: Algonorth and Algonova are at Imperial Oil.
