Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney.
American Century departed Two Harbors on 01/06 at 22:41. As of 18:30 on 01/07 she doesn’t have an updated AIS. The Presque Isle shifted from her lay-by berth between 23:36 and 00:00. At 18:30 on 01/07 she was still at the loading dock. The Joseph L. Block on 01/07 continues to be anchored off Duluth waiting on the Two Harbors dock. After taking a delay in Duluth the Edgar B. Speer went to anchor off Duluth on 01/07 to wait on Two Harbors. Due Two Harbors on 01/08 is the John J. Boland. There is no traffic scheduled for Northshore Mining in Silver Bay.

Friday; 14:15 CCGS Samuel Risley departed the coast guard station to conduct ice operations and returned at 16:15.
Northern Lake Michigan
Charlevoix:Thursday; Caroline McKee / Commander arrived at the St Marys plant to load cement products and departed at 22:17 for Chicago.
Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports.
St. Marys Challenger, now pushed by tug Bradshaw McKee, arrived from Calumet Harbor at 19:19 Thursday (01/06) with cement for the Kinnickinnic River terminal. The pair cleared for Charlevoix at 02:34 Friday. Algoma Intrepid arrived at 23:40 Thursday with salt from Compass Minerals, Goderich. After delivering cargo to the bagging plant, south slip 3, outer harbor, she moved to the inner harbor and filled the north storage dome before dropping the remainder on a discharge pad. Expected traffic: Sam Laud about 15:00 Friday from Waukegan, Spartan/Spartan II about 19:00 Friday from Burns Harbor, Stewart J. Cort about 00:30 Saturday from Burns Harbor (winter layup).
Northern Lake Huron
Alpena: Thursday; 13:49 G L Ostrander / Integrity arrived at the Lafarge plant to load cement products and departed at 22:19 for Detroit. Friday; 8:48 Samuel De Champlain / Innovation arrived at the Lafarge plant to load cement products.
Lake Erie Ports for Friday – Bill Kloss
Monroe: Corps tug Demolen arrived at 15:24.
Sandusky: Victory/Maumee departed for Sault Ste. Marie at 16:31. Kaye E. Barker moved up to load and Robert S. Pierson went to the dock. CSL Niagara, the 9th boat to Sandusky this week, arrived at 10:56 and went to anchor.
Cleveland: New York/Double Skin 509A departed for Detroit at 19:00.
Conneaut: Defiance/Ashtabula arrived at 09:09 to unload ore at the P&C dock.
Nanticoke: Calumet departed for Detroit and CSL Tadoussac departed for Windsor at 09:38. Algoma Hansa and Algosea are at Imperial Oil.
Welland Canal
The Canadian Coast Guard ship Griffon was the last ship up the Welland Canal this year. She passed under the Clarence Street bridge 9 minutes after the canal’s noon closing today.
Hamilton, ON
Under demolition in Hamilton by Heddle Marine Service is the barge HM 11, better known with the name Provmar Terminal. This barge is a 1985 conversion of the oil tanker Ungava Transport which belonged to Hall Corp.
