Northern Lake Michigan 
Straits of Mackinac: USCG Katmai Bay departed Sault Ste Marie Thursday at 11:41 was off of Mackinac Island Friday at 10:32 to begin ice operations and escort duties in the Straits of Mackinac. 
Algoma Niagara went to anchor Friday at 7:55 east of Round Island.  Algoma Intrepid and Algoma Sault both for Goderich stopped at 10:52 in Lake Michigan to await escort. 13:06 USCG Katmai Bay arrived and escorted the two Algoma boats through the Straits of Mackinac. USCG Katmai Bay returned to Lake Michigan to escort the tug Michigan / tanker barge Great Lakes for Sarnia and Walter J McCarthy for Toledo which she completed at 17:40 and  went to anchor west of the Round Island LIght. 

Green Bay, WI 
Thursday; 23:54 Algo Canada went to anchor off of Ellison Bay. Friday USCG Mobile Bay continued ice operations, clearing a channel from Green Bay WI to Algo Canada. 11:40  USCG Mobile Bay escorted Algo Canada to the entrance of the Green Bay WI shipping channel where she went to anchor at 15:44. Mobile Bay departed for Sturgeon Bay.

Milwaukee – MKE Marine Reports
After delivering deicing salt at the open dock, south slip one, outer harbor, CSL Assiniboine cleared for Windsor, Ontario, at 04:45 Friday (01/21).

Northern Lake Huron 
Owen Sound: Frontenac had been in the Sarnia anchorage since Monday at 20:08 for weather. She departed at 6:28 Thursday for Owen Sound and arrived Friday morning.for lay up along the east wall.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Sault and Algoma Intrepid are expected in that order.

Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Toledo:  H. Lee White arrived late Friday night escorted by the Canadian Coast Guard’s Samuel Risley. The White is going to lay up.
Cleveland:  New York/Double Skin 509A arrived from Detroit at 16:10 to unload at Marathon.
Ashtabula: Manitowoc arrived at 17:19 for lay up. 
Nanticoke:  Algoma Hansa departed for Sarnia at 01:18. SharonMI/Huron Spirit left at 17:03. Algonorth is at Imperial Oil.
