Alpena: Wednesday; 20:30 The tug Michigan and tanker barge Great Lakes went to anchor in Thunder Bay for weather.
Cheboygan: Wednesday; 11:54 With the assistance of the tug Manitou, the tug Michigan and tanker barge Great Lakes departed for Sarnia. Manitou returned to her berth in the Cheboygan River.

Algoma Central’s G3 Marquis is on dry-dock undergoing winter at Heddle Shipyards in the City of St. Catharines. On top of regular maintenance, she will also be having a FuelOpt system by Yara Marine Technologies installed, which has already proven during testing that it can reduce fuel consumption by up to 10 percent.
