G-Tug North Dakota was out early Saturday breaking ice near the salt dock for Algoma Intrepid, which arrived at 06:37 with salt from Compass Minerals, Goderich. The journey, which usually takes about 35 hours, took almost 4.5 days as Intrepid had to wait for an escort through ice at the Straits of Mackinac. After delivering a partial load, she headed to Chicago early Saturday afternoon.

Algoma Sault arrived at 01:09 early Saturday morning to load salt at Compass Minerals for Chicago; this is their 38th appearance in Goderich this season. 216 lakeboat vessels have been hosted by Goderich thus far this season. Algoma Niagara and Algoma Intrepid are still operating.  Algoma Buffalo and Capt. Henry Jackman (2) are in winter layup in the Goderich basin.

Sarnia: Friday; Algoma Sault arrived at the Shell Corunna doick to refuel and departed for Goderich at 20:40.
