Wednesday; 7:32 USCG Katmai Bay departed for Sault Ste Marie. 9:01 Algoma Sault was underway for Chicago. 9:54 Algoma Intrepid for Goderich was underway and stopped at 13:33. 11:59 Algoma Niagara for Goderich was underway and stopped at 15:02. With a gale blowing on Lake Huron.both vessels stopped south of Simmons Reef, which is west of the Straits of Mackinac to wait for weather.
