Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
As of 19:00 the Edwin H. Gott is northeast of Grand Marais, MN. At the same time the Edgar B. Speer is South of Rock of Ages. All locations are as of 19:00. The Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader is North of Eagle Harbor heading for Cliffs/Northshore Mining in Silver Bay. The Presque Isle is currently  underway in Whitefish. John G. Munson is underway in the lower St, Mary’s. Finally the Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader is stopped near Drummond Island for Cliffs/North Shore for Silver Bay. A note: All GLF boats are headed for Two Harbors.

St. Marys River – Roger Lelievre
The upbound Arthur M. Anderson, Presque Isle, Captain Henry Jackman and American Mariner were hove to in the ice just west of Gros Cap Light Friday evening due to gale warnings. The USCG Mackinaw and CCGS Griffon were stopped nearby. American Mariner had unloaded coal earlier in the day at Algoma Steel. John G. Munson was due at the locks upbound around midnight. Clyde S. VanEnkevort and barge remained at Drummond Island. Algocanada was at anchor above DeTour, waiting for Harvest Spirit to finish loading steel coils at the Purvis Dock.

Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports
Tug Albert with tank barge Margaret moved from the inner harbor to the liquid cargo pier Thursday afternoon. After loading ethanol, they returned to the inner harbor Friday. Bradshaw McKee/St. Marys Conquest arrived from Calumet Harbor at 18:45 Thursday with cement for the Kinnickinnic River terminal. The pair cleared for Charlevoix at 02:15 Friday. Sarah Andrie/A-390 arrived from Indiana Harbor at 06:35 Friday with liquid asphalt for the Construction Resources Management terminal.

Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Sandusky: Kaye E. Barker is loading coal for Zug Island. 
Cleveland: Samuel deChamplain/Innovation unloaded cement and departed for Alpena at 09:23. NACC Argonaut arrived at LaFarge at 17:22.
Conneaut: CSL Assiniboine arrived at 07:39.
Nanticoke: Sharon M1/Huron Spirit is back at anchor. 
Port Colborne: Blair McKeil arrived at 07:15.

Oswego, NY – Scott Marriam
The 27,000 DWT Lake St Clair became the first ship to load soybeans bound for Ireland from the new grain storage and loading facility at the Port of Oswego, NY this afternoon, (March 25, 2022). The NY State Department of Transportation partially funded the project through its Multi-Modal Program, which now gives the port capability to load and unload from not only ship, but truck and rail also.
