Damia Desgagnés
Damia Desgagnes was constructed in 2016 by Besiktas Gemi Insa A.S. of Istanbul, Turkey, as a double-hull oil/chemical/asphalt carrier for the Groupe Desgagnes subsidiary Petro-Nav. She is the first of four new state-of-the-art dual-fuel powered asphalt/chemical tankers built for Desgagnes. She is 442′ 11″ long, 77′ 01″ wide, and 37′ 01″ deep, capable of carrying 12,061 tons deadweight. Damia Desgagnes is powered by a single Wartsila 5RT-flex 50DF diesel/LNG powered engine, producing 7,305 BHP. Damia Desgagnes is engaged in the Seaway and Canadian East Coast asphalt and petroleum trades.
