Marquette, MI – Oggdo Bogdo
The American Spirit had a considerably shorter load than last time, clocking in at just under 24 hours when she left at 10:28 for Toledo. The Victory/Maumee would take her place 13 hours later at 23:36, breaking up the monotony of Interlake vessels and the Spirit.
St. Marys River – Know Your Ships
Interlake’s tug/barge combo Pathfinder/Dorothy Ann pulled up to the Carbide Dock mid-morning Saturday to discharge a cargo of road salt, the first such delivery this fall.
Toledo, OH: Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader departed Ironville at 01:04 and is destined for Stoneport. The Hon. James L. Oberstar arrived at 16:03 and Wilf Seymour/Alouette Spirit arrived at 17:08.
Sandusky, OH: Lee A. Tregurtha departed late Friday night for Zug Island.
Cleveland, OH: Leaving the Port docks Friday night was Federal Oshima, bound for Detroit. Interlake’s James R. Barker arrived at 07:47 to unload ore at the Bulk Terminal. Once empty, she departed for Two Harbors at 18:25. Cement carrier NACC Argonaut departed for Bath, ON. at 09:12. Spliethoff’s Floretgracht arrived at 09:55 and went to dock 22W at the Port. Sea Eagle II/St. Marys Cement II is at St. Marys Jefferson St. terminal. Federal Yukon arrived at 21:09 and went to dock 24E.
