Algocanada continues a midwinter’s stay in the Soo, discharging petroleum products at the Purvis Marine dock.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Innovator cleared 16:41 Thursday upbound for Chicago with salt. Algoma Conveyor arrived 05:07 Thursday loading at Compass Minerals, salt for Chicago. Algoma Intrepid is due next.

Port Huron, MI – Sarnia, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
Tankers Algonova and Iver Bright are still at Imperial Oil and Suncor, respectively.

Detroit, MI – Windsor, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
USCGC Hollyhock departed her berth near the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority dock around 07:10 Friday morning, heading down the length of the Detroit River to conduct icebreaking operations. The cutter turned around in Lake Erie to make it back before dinner, but not before making a brief stop at the Canadian Coast Guard Amherstburg Base. CCGS Griffon had left the base earlier in the afternoon to conduct her own ice ops on Lake Erie.
