St. Marys River – Joshua Hebeisen
USCGC Mobile Bay left her moorings on the west side of Lime Island around 07:30, exiting the St. Marys River and eventually heading for Lake Michigan with an AIS destination of “Icebreaking.” The river wouldn’t be left unguarded for long, however; USCGC Katmai Bay was inbound past De Tour Village, MI, around noon and made her way up to Mission Point by 16:30. She currently sits tied up at the U.S. Coast Guard station.
St. Ignace, MI – Joshua Hebeisen
Destined for the Soo, USCGC Katmai Bay departed U.S. Coast Guard Station St. Ignace at 09:08 Friday morning. She leaves behind her Bay-class sister USCGC Biscayne Bay at the dock.
Port Huron, MI – Sarnia, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
It was a Friday full house for Algoma Tankers at Imperial Oil, with a 07:59 Algocanada arrival finding her at the specialty products dock and fleetmates Algosea and Algoterra nearby at the lower dock. The latter would eventually cast off for Nanticoke, ON, around 10:30. CCGS Samuel Risley left the Government Dock about an hour earlier and cleared a path down the entirety of the river. Iver Bright remains at Suncor a few miles south of Sarnia.

Algoma Tankers Algonova and Algoterra both departed Sarnia, ON and are on their way to Imperial Oil in Nanticoke.
