St. Ignace, MI – Joshua Hebeisen
USCGC Mobile Bay departed the Coast Guard dock at 05:19 on Thursday, February 23, heading north to spend the morning in Saint Martin Bay. The icebreaking tug would spend the night anchored off Mackinac Island, once again firing up the engines on Friday morning to break some ice for Chi-town-bound Algoma Innovator. Her work done, Mobile Bay set course for the St. Marys River early afternoon.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Conveyor arrived 16:23 Wednesday, loading at Compass Minerals. Algoma Innovator cleared 22:08 Wednesday upbound for Chicago with salt.
Port Huron, MI – Sarnia, ON – Joshua Hebeisen
Casting off from the specialty products dock at 08:29 Friday morning was tanker Algonova, all loaded up with petroleum products for a weekend trip to Milwaukee, WI’s Jones Island. CCGS Samuel Risley would follow her upbound about 8 hours later with an AIS destination of “SCIENCE HURON.” Nerd.

Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Algoterra departed Imperial Oil with petroleum products for Sarnia, ON, which allowed Algosea to move to the dock and join Algocanada there. Harvest Spirit arrived at Stelco and will load steel coils.
