Duluth Entry
Monday, June 5
American Integrity departed at 00:03 (Central) with low sulfur coal for St. Clair, MI. Clyde S. VanEnkevort departed at 04:36 empty for Silver Bay. Wagenborg’s Maxima arrived at 07:22 to load beet pulp pellets at Elevator A, the first vessel to load at this 1908-built elevator since 2013. Dirk S. VanEnkevort arrived at 09:52 to unload limestone at Graymont. Indiana Harbor departed at 11:33 with low sulfur coal. Algoma Transport departed at 13:34 with iron ore pellets for Dofasco at Hamilton.

Tuesday, June 6
Steamer Philip R. Clarke arrived at 02:07 to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5. Big Lift’s Happy River arrived at 07:59 to unload containers at Port Terminal. American Mariner arrived at 11:27 with limestone for CN-Hallett #5. Philip R. Clarke departed at 12:45 empty for Two Harbors. Happy River departed at 19:09 for Cleveland.

Wednesday, June 7
Michipicoten arrived at 02:46 to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Paul R. Tregurtha arrived a short time later at 03:42 to load low sulfur coal at SMET. Maxima departed at 08:55 with beet pulp pellets for Amsterdam. American Century finally departed at 09:39 with iron ore pellets for Cleveland. Michipicoten departed at 11:49 with iron ore pellets for Algoma Steel. Paul R. Tregurtha departed at 16:24 with low sulfur coal for DTE power plants.

Thursday, June 8
Saginaw arrived at 04:04 to fuel before loading at BNSF. Mesabi Miner arrived at 05:27 to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. Nordika Desgagnes departed at 14:42 for Three Rivers, QC. Erieborg departed at 17:10 with beet pulp pellets for Ireland. Mesabi Miner departed at 22:22 with iron ore pellets for Indiana Harbor, IN.  

Friday, June 9
Cruise ship Ocean Navigator arrived at 07:58 to spend the day in Duluth at Port Terminal. After a brief stay at Fraser Shipyards, American Mariner left at 16:28 empty to load wheat in Thunder Bay. Ocean Navigator departed at 17:17 for Thunder Bay. Atlantic Huron arrived a short time later at 17:36 to take a delay at Port Terminal before loading at BNSF. Michipicoten arrived at 19:27 for another load of iron ore.

Saturday, June 10
The only arrival for Saturday was the G.L. Ostrander and Integrity at 22:11 with a load of cement for Holcim. As of Saturday night, Atlantic Huron was still taking a delay at Port Terminal. James R. Barker is expected mid-afternoon Sunday to load iron ore pellets at CN#6.

Superior Entry
James R. Barker departed at 13:04 (Central) Monday afternoon with iron ore pellets for Burns Harbor; Algoma Sault arrived at 13:27 to load at BNSF. Algoma Sault departed at 06:26 Tuesday morning with iron ore pellets for Quebec City. Erieborg arrived at 14:01 to load beet pulp pellets at Viterra. Dirk S. VanEnkevort loaded at BNSF next, and they left at 14:44 that same day for Toledo. Stewart J. Cort came in to load at 15:17, and they departed at 10:48 Wednesday morning for Burns Harbor. Algoma Strongfield arrived at 11:21 to load next at BNSF. After the Stongfield departed at 23:55, Saginaw would move in to load. Saginaw departed at 15:00 Thursday afternoon for Algoma Steel. Algoma Discovery arrived at 01:05 Friday morning to load iron ore pellets at BNSF; they departed at 12:05 with iron ore pellets for Hamilton. Burns Harbor arrived at 00:45 Saturday morning to load iron ore.

As of Saturday night, G.L. Ostrander and Integrity were unloading at Holcim, and Burns Harbor was loading at BNSF. Burns Harbor is estimated to depart early Sunday with iron ore pellets. Algoma Guardian will be next to load, followed by American Integrity.

Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Monroe, MI: New York/Double Skin 509A is unloading liquid asphalt.
Toledo, OH: Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader departed for Stoneport and fleetmate Joyce L. VanEnkevort/ Great Lakes Trader arrived at Torco. After unloading the tug and barge departed for Duluth. CSL Assiniboine left for Picton, ON.
Kingsville, ON: Robert S. Pierson unloaded and left for Windsor.
Marblehead, OH: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder loaded stone at Holcim and took it to Lorain.
Sandusky, OH: Mark W. Barker departed with coal for Zug Island, another first port for her.
Lorain, OH: Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson arrived from Marblehead, unloaded stone at Carmeuse and then left for Meldrum Bay. Later in the evening, Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder delivered stone to Carmeuse as well.
Cleveland, OH: Federal Kivalina departed for Detroit. American Century arrived at the Bulk Terminal to unload 55,000 tons of UTAC pellets. She left for Duluth once empty. Also leaving was Happy River to Valleyfield, PQ and NACC Alicudi to Bath, ON.
Conneaut, OH: John J. Boland has stone for the P&C dock.
Erie, PA: Manitowoc unloaded stone at Carmeuse, then departed for Marblehead once empty.
Buffalo, NY: John J. Boland got empty and left for Conneaut. CSL Niagara arrived to load coal. Eider is still unloading sugar.
Nanticoke, ON: Departing with petroleum products was Algosea to Tracy, PQ and Algocanada to Sault Ste. Marie, ON. 

Buffalo, NY – Brian Wroblewski
The CSL Niagara arrived from the Port Colborne Anchorage at 05:00 on June 10. She came in the South Entrance, winded off the CRH Cement Terminal with her thrusters, and then backed up the Lackawanna Canal to load coal at Gateway Metroport. They secured the ship alongside the bulk apron about one boat length from the stern of the saltie Eider that was still unloading sugar at Sucros.
