September 2
Burns Harbor arrived through Duluth at 10:28 (Central) to fuel at Cenovus; they departed at 14:23 empty to load in Silver Bay. Manitoulin departed at 19:38 after an eventful visit; they originally arrived to unload grain from Thunder Bay at General Mills, then they shifted to BNSF #5 to load Keetac pellets for Algoma Steel, and finally they fueled at Cenovus before departing. Michipicoten departed soon after at 20:05 with Minntac flux pellets, also for Algoma Steel.
September 3
Great Republic arrived at 07:15 to unload limestone from Carmeuse’s Calcite Operation at CN-Hallett #5; they departed empty at 17:46 for Two Harbors. Philip R. Clarke arrived at 19:43 to unload limestone from Holcim’s Presque Isle quarry at C. Reiss. American Century arrived at 20:09 to fuel before loading low-sulfur coal at SMET. Finally, Indiana Harbor arrived at 23:36 to fuel before loading in Two Harbors.
September 4
For Labor Day, steamer Arthur M. Anderson arrived at 00:41 to load Mustang pellets at CN #6. Indiana Harbor departed empty at 03:39 for Two Harbors. Queen of the Lakes, Paul R. Tregurtha, arrived at 08:34 to load a split cargo of low sulfur coal and petroleum coke at SMET; American Century departed soon after at 09:34 for the Belle River and Monroe DTE Energy plants. Arthur M. Anderson departed at 18:04 with iron ore pellets for Indiana Harbor. Paul R. Tregurtha departed with their coal load at 21:10 for the same plants as the Century.
September 5
Michipicoten arrived at 05:11 to load Minntac flux pellets under the gravity chutes at CN #6; they departed at 12:56 for Algoma Steel. Philip R. Clarke departed at 20:01 with Mustang pellets for Indiana Harbor.
September 6
Joseph L. Block arrived at 00:21 with stone from Port Inland and Cedarville intended for CN #6. Mesabi Miner arrived at 10:04 to wait on the other side of CN. John G. Munson arrived at 14:44 to load blast furnace trim at CN-Hallett #5. Joseph L. Block departed at 17:48 empty for Marquette, MI.
September 7
Mesabi Miner departed at 08:31 with UTAC acid pellets for Cleveland Works. Federal St. Laurent finally arrived from anchor at 11:49 to load Minntac flux pellets at CN#6 for a destination overseas. John G. Munson departed at 15:00 with blast furnace trim for Gary Works. Finally, Miedwie arrived from anchor at 16:25 to load wheat at CHS #1 in Superior.
September 8
As of Friday afternoon, only Federal St. Laurent was in port on the Duluth side; they were loading iron ore pellets at CN #6. Saturday will be a slow day for Duluth traffic; only American Mariner is due late afternoon carrying limestone for CN-Hallett #5.

CSL Laurentien arrived at 16:04 (Central) Saturday late afternoon to load Keetac pellets at BNSF#5.
September 3
CSL Laurentien departed at 11:15 Sunday morning for Nanticoke. CSL Tadoussac arrived soon after at 11:37 to load the same cargo,
September 4
CSL Tadoussac departed at 02:56 Monday morning for the same destination as her fleetmate. Stewart J. Cort arrived at 11:58 to load Standard Hibtac pellets.
September 5
Stewart J. Cort departed at 04:16 Tuesday morning for Burns Harbor. CSL St-Laurent arrived at 04:43 to load next at BNSF; they departed at 17:26 the same day with Hibtac high-composition pellets for Quebec City. Walter J. McCarthy Jr. arrived from anchor at 18:08 to load at BNSF.
September 7
Walter J. McCarthy Jr. departed at 07:11 Thursday morning with Keetac pellets for the Pittsburgh and Conneaut dock. CSL Niagara arrived at 07:43 to load Keetac as well.
September 8
CSL Niagara departed at 00:47 Friday morning for Nanticoke. Finally, Michipicoten arrived at 02:18 Friday morning to load iron ore for Algoma Steel.
As of Friday afternoon, Miedwe was loading at CHS #1 and Michipicoten was still loading at BNSF. Michipicoten is estimated to depart later in the afternoon with Keetac pellets for Algoma Steel. Atlantic Huron is expected in the evening to load Keetac pellets for Nanticoke; after they depart sometime Saturday, Algoma Sault will arrive to load next.
Two Harbors, MN – Gary Putney
Oakglen departed Two Harbors at 04:13 for Quebec City. Edwin H. Gott departed Two Harbors at 13:20 for Nanticoke. Edgar B. Speer arrived Two Harbors at 13:51, where it is loading for Gary.
Silver Bay, MN – Gary Putney
American Integrity arrived Silver Bay at 20:41, where it’s still loading.
Monroe, MI – Bill Kloss
American Century departed for the Twin Ports after unloading coal at DTE. Soon afterwards Paul R. Tregurtha arrived with more of the black diamonds for DTE. The Queen of the Lakes departed for Superior after unloading. New York/Double Skin 509A arrived to unload liquid asphalt. Undaunted/Pere Marquette 41 brought in stone for the Port.
Toledo, OH – Bill Kloss
Departing were Saginaw with coal for Algoma Steel at the Soo, Hon. James L. Oberstar empty for a northern port, and Albert/Margaret for Green Bay, WI.
Cleveland, OH – Bill Kloss
Maxima departed for Chicago. Arriving were Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder going to Osborne and Victory/Maumee with Tilden pellets for the Bulk Terminal. After unloading the tug and barge departed for Calcite, and Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder left for Marblehead after they got empty. American Courage is doing shuttles. Algoma Buffalo was a late-night arrival.
Grand River, OH – Fairport Harbor, OH – Bill Kloss
Calumet brought in a load of limestone to be dropped off at Osborne. She left for Detroit once empty.
Conneaut, OH – Bill Kloss
Indiana Harbor unloaded ore and departed for Two Harbors.
Buffalo, NY – Lackawanna, NY – Tonawanda, NY – Brian Wroblewski
The Alicudi was assisted out by the Vermont at 08:30 Friday morning.
Nanticoke, ON – Bill Kloss
Departing were CSL Tadoussac to Duluth-Superior and Algonova to Sarnia. Algosea and Damia Desgagnés switched places, with the Algoma tanker going to anchor and the Desgagnes tanker going to Imperial Oil to load petroleum products.
