Friday, October 13
Despite the rough weather, Hon. James L. Oberstar was able to depart at 09:33 (Central) with UTAC acid pellets for Toledo; this was the only action for the day
Saturday, October 14
Steamer Arthur M. Anderson arrived at 10:11 to unload limestone from Port Inland at Graymont. James R. Barker arrived at 11:58 to load mustang pellets at CN#6. After fueling at Cenovus, Michipicoten departed at 17:43 for Algoma Steel.
Sunday, October 15
James R. Barker departed for Indiana Harbor at 05:27. Steamer Philip R. Clarke arrived at 10:26 to unload limestone at Graymont; they later departed at 18:18 empty for Two Harbors.
Monday, October 16
Arthur M. Anderson departed at 04:55 with iron ore pellets for Toledo. Mesabi Miner arrived soon after at 05:19 to load iron ore at CN#6; because of the long wait for cargo, they later shifted to load iron ore pellets at BNSF that same day. Paul R. Tregurtha arrived at 05:44 to load coal at SMET; they later departed at 19:28 for St. Clair and Monroe. Walter J. McCarthy Jr. arrived at 19:51 to load at CN#6. Finally, Lake Erie departed at 21:15 with wheat for Morocco.
Tuesday, October 17
Polsteam’s Isadora arrived at 09:57 from anchor to load wheat at Riverland Ag. As of Tuesday night, Isadora was loading at Riverland Ag and Walter J. McCarthy Jr. was still loading at CN#6. McCarthy may depart Wednesday early morning with iron ore. Happy River and the steamer Alpena are expected around the same time before sunrise. Happy River will be unloading quartz at Port Terminal, and Alpena will be unloading cement at Holcim in Superior.

Rt. Hon Paul J. Martin departed at 22:46 (Central) for Quebec City.
Friday, October 13
No traffic took place!
Saturday, October 14
Michipicoten arrived at 09:33 to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. Michipicoten shifted over to the fuel dock, allowing Algoma Guardian to arrive at 14:06 for BNSF.
Sunday, October 15
Algoma Guardian departed at 07:33 with iron ore pellets for Hamilton. American Spirit arrived from anchor at 08:03 to load next at BNSF.
Monday, October 16
American Spirit departed at 00:29 with iron ore pellets for Conneaut, Ohio.
Tuesday, October 17
Mesabi Miner departed at 09:41 with iron ore pellets for Burns Harbor. As of Tuesday night, no vessels were in port on the Superior side. American Century will be next to load at BNSF; they will be arriving late Wednesday or early Thursday.

Edwin H. Gott arrived Two Harbors at 14:21.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Maria G cleared 13:32 Tuesday downbound for Montreal. Radcliffe Latimer arrived 02:03 Tuesday and is loading at Compass Minerals. Algoma Innovator arrived 14:23 Tuesday and scheduled to load salt next.
Toledo, OH – Bill Kloss
Albert/Margaret and Federal Sakura are still in port. American Mariner unloaded at Torco and then left for Calcite.
Marblehead, OH – Bill Kloss
Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived from Cleveland to load stone at Holcim.
Sandusky, OH – Bill Kloss
Atlantic Huron left with coal for Bowmanville.
Cleveland, OH – Bill Kloss
Departing were Caroline McKee/Commander and Prentiss Brown/St. Marys Challenger, both to Charlevoix, Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder to Marblehead, Algoma Intrepid with salt to Owen Sound, Wilfred Sykes to Port Inland, Candace Elise to Ludington, and American Courage to Port Dolomite. McKeil Spirit is at Lehigh Cement and Mark W. Barker is at Cliffs Upper Dock.
Grand River, OH – Fairport Harbor, OH – Bill Kloss
Frontenac left with salt for Morrisburg and Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader arrived with stone for Osborne.
Nanticoke, ON – Bill Kloss
Departing were CSL Niagara to Duluth-Superior and Birgit Knutsen to Sarnia. Algotitan is at Imperial Oil. Arrivals were Presque Isle and Algoma Transport to Stelco.
