Joyce L VanEnkevort / Great Lakes Trader departed Duluth at around 10:30am December 10th with iron ore pellets for Cleveland, OH.
Federal Montreal spent Sunday at anchor outside Duluth waiting to load at Riverland Ag after Drawsko.
The Riverland Ag elevator in Duluth spent Sunday the 10th loading wheat onto Polish-owned oceangoing bulker Drawsko. Sunday grain loading operations are somewhat rare in Duluth-Superior; perhaps this was a sign of the extra urgency that often emerges toward the end of shipping season. With a full day of loading already on the books by Sunday evening, Riverland Ag may be on track to finish with Drawsko by Monday afternoon or evening, December 11th. If Drawsko clears on Monday, Federal Montreal may arrive the Duluth Entry from anchor outside the harbor to take their place in line to load.
Arriving oceangoing bulker Federal Hunter made a grand sight riding high and sliding swiftly through the Duluth Entry Sunday afternoon, headed for CHS 1 with tugs Kentucky and Missouri on the assist.

John G Munson departed Superior just before 3am on December 10th with iron ore pellets for Gary, IN and was taking a bit of a weather course throughout Sunday as they proceeded downbound.
American Century was southeast of Isle Royale on Sunday evening, December 10th, having taken a weather course across eastern Lake Superior. They’re expected to arrive the Superior Entry in the pre-dawn hours of Monday, December 11th.

The rest of the present up-bound parade aren’t likely to show up at Duluth-Superior until Monday afternoon or evening; that list includes Philip R Clarke for CN 6, American Mariner with limestone for CN Hallett 5, and Paul R Tregurtha for Midwest Energy.

Undaunted/Pere Marquette 41 unloaded at the Port dock then departed for Port Colborne.

CSL Laurentien is at Cliffs. Leaving were Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader and Fuldaborg, both to Detroit. Arrivals were American Spirit and Alpena

Clyde S.VanEnkevort/Erie Trader departed with stone for Windsor.

CLEVELAND, OHIO-Bill Kloss
Happy River is still at the Port dock. Algoma Buffalo loaded salt and departed for Hamilton. Arriving to load at Cargill was Mark W.Barker. NACC Alicudi came in later at night to unload cement at Holcim.

GRAND RIVER, OHIO – FAIRPORT, OHIO-Bill Kloss
Mark W. Barker unloaded stone at Osborne then left for Cleveland.

ERIE, PENNSYLVANIA-Bill Kloss
Algoma Compass unloaded at Carmeuse and left for Goderich once empty

NANTICOKE, ONTARIO-Bill Kloss
Algoterra and Algoluna are loading at Imperial Oil while Algotitan is at anchor. Presque Isle arrived to unload ore at Stelco and fleetmate Edwin H. Gott is anchored.
