ALGOMA BUFFALO departs Universal Terminals down bound for Valleyfield.
EVANS SPIRIT, down, cargo, for Quebec City.
ALGOTITAN, up, for Sarnia.
10:36 CSL WELLAND, up, ballast, for Ashtabula.
12:08 PERELIK, down, cargo, for St. John, New Brunswick to top off with potash.
12:32 IRMA of Limassol, up, cargo, for Detroit.
21:29 NORTHERN VENTURE, down, cargo, for Contrecoeur.
BUFFALO,NEW YORK [USBUF]-Brian Wroblewski
The CLARKE was all done unloading on the morning of the 16th and backed out for the lake at 5AM. She winded off the Erie Basin and then departed Buffalo via the North Entrance, bound for Calcite, MI. Later that morning at 10AM, the GREAT REPUBLIC arrived and took the CLARKE’s place at the CSI landing. She came in without tugs and spent the day unloading sand. Around 5PM the H. LEE WHITE arrived but was forced to go to into anchorage off the breakwall and wait for the GREAT REPUBLIC to back out that evening. The MANITOULIN was done unloading at the ADM Standard elevator and departed without tugs at 5:15PM that afternoon, bound for Sandusky. Once clear of the harbor, she departed via the North Entrance, throttled up to lake speed, and went right past the WHITE sitting on the hooks under a gathering gloom. The REPUBLIC was done unloading sand at CSI around 7PM and backed herself down to the Outer Harbor. She winded off the Coast Guard station and headed out the North Entrance, meeting the inbound H. LEE WHITE just outside the breakwall. The WHITE came in for the Frontier elevator with a load of Canadian Red Wheat Out of Thunder Bay while the REPUBLIC met her “on the one whistle” and departed for Stoneport.

Philip R. Clarke departed for Calcite once empty. Great Republic arrived to unload at CSI Sands. H. Lee White is anchored in Lake Erie and Manitoulin left for Sandusky once empty at AADM. Great Republic departed for Calcite and H.Lee White moved in to unload.
