BUFFALO,NEW YORK [USBUF]-Brian Wroblewski
H. LEE WHITE arrived with wheat from Thunder Bay for the Frontier Elevator at 6:30PM on the 26th. She cane in without tugs and tied up at General Mills for unloading. Flow rates at the Frontier elevator have been slow lately, taking days to unload these cargos due to a problem with one of their lofting legs that is in need of lengthy repairs. Later on that evening, the SUNNANVIK wrapped up over at Holcim and dropped lines around 6:15PM. The ship backed herself out for the lake.
The WHITE finished up at the Frontier elevator around 4PM on the 28th and backed out by herself. After she cleared the Buffalo River, her stern was swung North towards the Black Rock Entrance, she came to a stop, turned on the thrusters, and then departed for Sandusky under a concrete sky that evening.
