The MAUMEE was empty on the early morning of the 10th so the crew spent a couple hours cleaning up and stowing the dust tarps. Everything was all done around 4AM so they dropped lines and the VICTORY backed her big barge out to the harbor. They departed for the Long Point Bay Anchorage until some bad weather passed down the lake. Later that morning the EDWARD M. COTTER went up the Buffalo River breaking ice.
