This is the Algoma Central’s third vessel named after Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. Her most recent predecessor, Algosoo, which entered service on the lakes in 1974, has been cut up for scrap in Port Colborne, Ont. An earlier Algosoo was scrapped in Spain in 1967. Written by Roger LeLievre. |
