Miena Desgagnes was constructed in 2017 by Jiangzhou Union Shipbuilding of Ruichang, China as Jan. She is 482′ 04″ long, 71′ 10″ wide, and 37′ 01″ deep, capable of carrying 11,492 tons, and equipped with a pair of 250 metric ton deck cranes. She is powered by a single MAN 5G45ME-C9.5 diesel engine, producing 6,433 BHP.

In 2018, she was acquired by the Groupe Desgagnes subsidiary Transport Desgagnes, and renamed Miena Desgagnes. She continues to serve them in the Seaway general cargo trades.
