Harvest Spirit arrives at Soo, ON, to load steel coils
The McKeil Marine cargo vessel Harvest Spirit arrived Sunday evening to load steel coils at the Purvis dock, where the tankers usually moor. USCG Katmai Bay and Neah Bay assisted her up the river, a process that took most of the day. After loading, she will head for WIndsor.
Scrapping underway on fire-damaged St. Clair
Port Colborne, ON – Photos on social media show scrappers at Marine Recycling Corp. have removed the stacks and top of the St. Clair’s superstructure. The vessel was damaged beyond repair during a Feb. 2019 fire while in winter layup at Toledo.
