We’d like to thank everyone who has been on board since the site was founded in the mid-1990s, especially those who have made financial contributions over the years. We wouldn’t be here without you! As you explore the site, you will see that our most popular features, such as the news page, remain, many of them with visible improvements including photos. The information search remains, as do the fleet photo/ship history galleries and the live AIS vessel locator map. There’s more to come since the new site is still under development. Thanks are also due to the many volunteers who have kept the non-profit Boatnerd running, starting with founder Neil Schultheiss and including individuals such as George Wharton, Roger LeLievre, Matt Miner, Nathan Leindecker, the late Dave Wobser, all those who send in Port Reports and other information and the members of the Boatnerd board of directors.
