With gale and storm force winds blowing from the north to the NE and predicted wave heights of 20 plus feet in parts of Lake Superior several other vessels are waiting out the weather. American Mariner down bound from Superior, and Algoma Equinox for Duluth Superior have all gone to anchor in Thunder Bay. American Integrity for Duluth is anchored in Goulais Bay, Hon James L Oberstar for Duluth and Paul R Tregurtha for Superior are anchored off of Bay Mills and American Spirit for Superior is off of Dollar Settlement in the SE corner of Whitefish Bay. Mesabi Miner for Duluth is waiting out the weather in the Sarnia anchorage.

Duluth Entry: No vessel traffic has taken place since the last report due to the weather. As of Wednesday night, Algoma Innovator was unloading at Compass Minerals, James R. Barker was waiting out the weather at Husky, Arthur M. Anderson was waiting out the weather at CN, and John G. Munson was waiting out the weather at CN. Laura L. VanEnkevort and Joseph Thompson are expected Thursday morning to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. 
Superior Entry: No vessel traffic has taken place since the last report due to the weather. As of Wednesday night, Indiana Harbor was waiting out the weather at SMET, Michipicoten was waiting out the weather at Lakehead Pipeline, and Lee A. Tregurtha was loading at BNSF. Algoma Equinox is expected Thursday morning. 

Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
The Great Republic still sits at North of #2 in Two Harbors. Probably waiting on weather. Edwin H. Gott is still at South of #2 at 18:00 on 01/05. It’s reported there are mechanical issues with the dock. Due Two Harbors on 01/06 are the American Century that at 18:00 is off Grand Marais, MN. Also due on 01/06 is the Joseph L. Block. She went the Canadian North Shore route. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay still has the Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader at the dock as of 18:00 on 01/05 where she’s waiting on weather.

Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports
Sam Laud was at the Lafarge dock, inner harbor, Wednesday (01/05). She came up from Waukegan Monday because of problems unloading caked gypsum. Also in the harbor is tanker barge Margaret. Her tug, Albert, is in Sturgeon Bay.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Intrepid cleared 09:30 Wednesday morning upbound for Milwaukee with salt.

Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Sandusky:  John J. Boland departed for Detroit at 01:30. H. Lee White is at the loader and Victory/Maumee moved to the dock behind the White. Kaye E. Barker and Robert S. Pierson are anchored in Lake Erie. 
Cleveland:   New York/Double Skin 509A is at Marathon. 
Ashtabula:  American Courage did not go to Ashtabula as was reported yesterday, but instead went to Erie, PA.
Erie:  American Courage arrived at 18:59.
Nanticoke:  CSL Niagara arrived at 11:33 and went to anchor. Algoma Hansa and Algosea are still at anchor. Calumet is at Stelco.
