BUFFALO,NEW YORK [USBUF]-Brian Wroblewski
The ANDERSON’s sister ship PHILLIP R. CLARKE was on her way to Buffalo on the 11th when they diverted to Conneautte, OH to hide from some nasty weather. It turned up to be a wise choice because when the storms got to Buffalo they brought in wind, rain, and even hail, not exactly ideal conditions to unload a ship in. The 12th was nice and calm so they got underway that morning and arrived here at 4:45PM. She came straight in
and went up to CSI without tugs to start the unload that evening, right after sunset.

Arrivals were Hon. James L. Oberstar and Atlantic Huron to load coal at Norfolk Southern. The Oberstar departed for Monroe once loaded.
