Another sand load came in on the 23rd but the GREAT REPUBLIC also had to go to anchor when the water ran out of Buffalo again. She dropped the hooks just South of the Safe Water Beacon around 6PM to wait for a storm front that was passing through.
The morning of October 24th was nice and calm so the GREAT REPUBLIC was able to start on in for CSI at 8:00AM. They unloaded there all day and backed out at 8PM using the thrusters to wind in the Outer Harbor off the Coast Guard Base before departing for Stoneport, MI.
