Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Spruceglen departed at 14:12 (CST) Sunday afternoon with iron ore pellets most likely for Quebec City. As of Sunday night, no vessels were in port on the Duluth side. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected Monday morning to fuel then load low sulfur coal at SMET.
Superior Entry: No vessel traffic has taken place since the last report. As of Sunday night, no vessels were in port on the Superior side. Dirk S. VanEnkevort and Michigan Trader are expected Monday morning to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.

Saturday; 13:48 CCGS Samuel Risley departed for the Soo locks.
St. Marys River – Roger Lelievre
Upbound traffic on a sunny Sunday included Algoma Sault (to the Algoma Export Dock), James R. Barker, Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin and Whitefish Bay. H. Lee White / tug Victory and barge Maumee were upbound in the lower river Sunday late evening. Downbounders included Arthur M. Anderson, CSL St-Laurent, Burns Harbor (from 9 Mile anchorage), Algoma Intrepid (from 9 Mile anchorage), Algocanada (from the Purvis Dock), Presque Isle, CSL Tadoussac, John D. Leitch, Harvest Spirit, CCGS Samuel Risley and, late, Hon. James L. Oberstar, and Edwin H. Gott. Baie Comeau and CSL Assiniboine appeared to be stopped for the night west of the locks. Ice is still causing trouble for some vessels in the area of Gros Cap and the lower St. Marys River below Nine Mile Point.
Northern Lake Michigan
Charlevoix: Saturday; 23:23 Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Conquest arrived at the St Marys plant to load cement products and departed Sunday at 9:35 for Chicago. 18:21 Prentiss Brown / St Marys Challenger arrived at the St Marys Cement plant to load cement products.
Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports
After delivering European steel at Federal Marine Terminals, Polsteam’s Resko cleared for Duluth-Superior at 00:22 Sunday. Fednav’s Federal Freedom arrived from Burns Harbor at 7:18. With an assist from G-tug Hawaii, she backed into south slip one, outer harbor, and tied up at the Federal Marine Terminals dock vacated by Resko. Federal Freedom carries steel from Antwerp, Belgium.
Northern Lake Huron
Alpena: Sunday; 4:15 Undaunted / Pere Marquette 41 arrived at the Lafarge plant to unload and departed at 13:43 for Holland.
Calcite: Sunday; 2:47 John J Boland departed for Burns Harbor. 13:58 Defiance / Ashtabula arrived to load limestone.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Innovator cleared at 02:09 early Saturday morning upbound for Muskegon, Michigan with salt. Algoma Conveyor was loading at Compass Minerals for Thunder Bay ON. Federal Hudson (3) is expected next, probably loading grain.
Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Toledo: The Maltese flagged saltie Kom arrived at 07:55. Sam Laud and Samuel de Champlain/Innovation both arrived from Cleveland. Samuel deChamplain/Innovation unloaded and departed for Alpena at 16:32 and Sam Laud left for Manistee.
Marblehead: Cuyahoga loaded stone for Kingsville.
Kingsville: Cuyahoga had a second stone delivery for Southwestern Sales. She departed for Sandusky at 09:14.
Sandusky: Cuyahoga arrived at 13:33 to load coal at Norfolk Southern. Kaye E. Barker arrived at 21:00 and will wait behind Cuyahoga.
Cleveland: Samuel deChamplain/Innovation and Sam Laud both left Saturday night for Toledo. Sharon M1/Huron Spirit arrived at 00:50 and is at dock 24N at the Port.
Ashtabula: CSL Welland departed for Thunder Bay at 14:25.
Conneaut: John G. Munson arrived to unload at the P&C dock.
Nanticoke: Algonova and Algosea are at Imperial Oil. Blair McKeil arrived to load at Stelco.
