Duluth-Superior – Scott Bjorklund
Duluth Entry: Arthur M. Anderson departed Duluth at 10:55 (CST) Thursday morning with iron ore pellets for Gary. American Mariner departed at 17:32 Friday evening with wheat for Buffalo. As of Friday night, James R. Barker and Paul R. Tregurtha were both at Port Terminal readying for operations the following day. Both vessels are expected to move to loading docks (CN#6 and SMET) mid-day Saturday. Paul R. Tregurtha is estimated to depart Saturday night with coal. 

Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Presque Isle arrived Two Harbors at 12:30:18 Thursday and departed on 03:05:00

Thunder Bay, ON
Thursday; CCGS Samuel Risley has been conducting daily ice operations since March 23. Capt. Henry Jackman shifted to the Richardson Current River Terminal to finish loading grain. 9:50 USCG Neah Bay arrived from Duluth to assist with ice operations. 13:27 USCG Neah Bay arrived at Keefer Terminal. 17:59 CCGS Samuel Risley departed Thunder Bay for ice operations on Lake Superior. 18:05  Capt. Henry Jackman departed for Port Cartier.  Friday; 8:49 USCG Neah Bay departed Keefer Terminal to conduct ice operations.

St. Marys River – Roger Lelievre
American Century was downbound Thursday. Although her AIS read Gary, she was headed down Lake Huron at 11 p.m. That was the only commercial traffic moving in the river. USCG locked down and tied up at the Soo base. Algoma Conveyor, Algoma Strongfield, Oakglen and John J. Boland were still stopped west of Gros Cap Thursday evening, along with USCG Morro Bay and CCGS Griffon. Algonova was unloading at the Purvis dock.

Saltie Unisea arrived at Marinette, WI, Friday, assisted by tug William C. Gaynor.

Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports
After being delayed by weather, Bradshaw McKee/St. Marys Conquest cleared for Charlevoix at 11:02 Thursday. Samuel de Champlain/Innovation arrived from Alpena at 04:37 Friday with cement for Lafarge. Already at the Lafarge dock was GL Ostrander/Integrity, which spent the winter here, so Innovation rafted alongside Integrity to unload. John D. Leitch and Michigan/Great Lakes are expected Saturday.

Northern Lake Huron
Owen Sound: Wednesday; 20:45 Frontenac departed her layup berth and went to anchor north of Owen Sound for weather.  Thursday; 18:33 Frontenac departed for Duluth Superior.
Alpena: Friday; 6:12 The cement carrier Alpena arrived to load cement products.
Stoneport: Friday; 8:16 Kaye E Barker arrived to load limestone. 
Cheboygan: Friday; 9:53 The tug Michigan and tanker barge Great Lakes departed for Milkwaukee. 

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Innovator cleared 6.09 early Thursday downbound for Cote St Catherines with salt.  Algoma Sault backed around at 4.00pm Thursday loading at Compass MInerals.

Toledo, OH
Due to high winds Thursday morning, the American Integrity’s lines broke, swinging her into the barge Joseph H Thompson. There was no damage to either ship.

Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Monroe: Wilf Seymour/Alouette Spirit is in port. Harvest Spirit arrived at 09:15 and went to anchor.
Cleveland: A rare trip for  Burns Harbor, she arrived at 14:45 to unload 58,000 tons of ore at the Bulk Terminal. Polsteam’s Resko is the first saltie of the season for the Port, arriving from Quebec at 17:55. She is at dock 24W. 
Ashtabula: Sam Laud departed at 02:55 with coke for Sault Ste. Marie. 
Nanticoke: John D. Leitch departed for Milwaukee at 04:05 on Thursday. Harvest Spirit left at 13:59. Algocanada went to the dock at Imperial Oil at 05:30 Friday.
