Duluth Entry: American Integrity arrived at 18:01 (CST) Saturday evening to load coal at SMET. Mesabi Miner departed soon after at 18:24 with iron ore pellets for Indiana Harbor. As of Saturday night, Federal Dart was unloading at CRH. American Integrity is estimated to depart early Sunday morning with coal. American Mariner is expected late morning to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5. Joseph L. Block is expected in the evening to unload limestone at CN#6. Kaye E. Barker is also expected Sunday evening to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5.
Superior Entry: Presque Isle departed at 19:07 (CST) Friday night with iron ore pellets for Nanticoke. Burns Harbor shifted over to BNSF after Presque Isle departed. Burns Harbor departed at 17:07 Saturday late afternoon with iron ore pellets for her namesake port. Captain Henry Jackman, on its first trip to the Twin Ports, arrived from anchor at 17:30 to load at BNSF. As of Saturday night, Captain Henry Jackman was loading at BNSF, Stewart J. Cort was waiting at anchor outside Superior, and American Integrity was loading at SMET. Michipicoten is expected to join the Superior entry “parking lot” Sunday mid-morning to load after the Cort. Radcliffe R. Latimer is expected in the evening to also load at BNSF.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A Putney
Indiana Harbor arrived Two Harbors at 14:03. there is no inbound traffic scheduled on 8/1 for Two Harbors. Arriving Northshore Mining on 7/31 at 09:24 was the Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader. No inbound traffic scheduled on 8/1.
Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
South Chicago: Algoma Intrepid departed Saturday morning. BBC St. Petersburg departed around 6:30 PM. Beatrix remained at South Chicago.
Indiana Harbor: James R. Barker departed overnight, with Walter J. McCarthy, Jr. taking her spot. Calumet arrived in the late afternoon.
Gary: Edwin H. Gott arrived in the early afternoon.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas.
Algoma Compass cleared 7.50 am Saturday down bound for Ogdensburg with salt. Algoma Innovator loading at Compass Minerals. Algoma Niagara expected next.
Lake Erie Ports for Saturday – Bill Kloss
Marblehead: American Courage arrived from Cleveland at 07:15. Robert S. Pierson arrived at 18:23 and went to anchor, as did Sharon M I/Huron Spirit.
Sandusky: CSL Niagara left for Hamilton at 03:38. John J. Boland arrived from Buffalo at 18:31.
Cleveland: Prentiss Brown/St.Marys Challenger and American Courage departed late Friday night. Ijzerborg departed for Antwerp with a full deck load of containers and Federal Montreal left for Montreal. Sharon MI/ Huron Spirit arrived at 06:59, unloaded and departed at 13:08. McKeil Spirit left for Picton at 07:37. New York/Double Skin 509A arrived at 07:39 and went to the Marathon terminal. Cuyahoga arrived at 18:28.
Fairport Harbor: Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader arrived at 11:12 to unload at Osborne.
Conneaut: Edgar B. Speer arrived to unload at the P&C dock.
Nanticoke: Algoma Hansa left at 14:16. Algocanada was anchored off of Port Dover. CSL Laurentian and CSL Tadoussac were early morning departures.
