Two Harbors, MN – Gary Putney
Edwin H. Gott is in eastern Lake Superior heading for Two Harbors coming back in ballast after making another trip to Nanticoke.
Silver Bay, MN – Gary Putney
No traffic in Silver Bay, but the Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader is heading for Duluth and there’s a possibility she could end up in Silver Bay.
Marquette, MI – Noah H.
On Tuesday, Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader arrived at 07:53 to unload stone from Stoneport in the lower harbor. A few hours later, Kaye E. Barker departed at 10:09 to head down to Toledo, leaving just the American Spirit at the dock. Despite this, the Clyde waited in the bay after unloading and waited until 05:00 on Wednesday to take her place under the chutes, when the Spirit vacated her position to head to Toledo as well. The tug/barge remained there for the rest of the day.
Grand Haven, MI – Ferrysburg, MI – Noah H.
It was a busy day at Grand Haven on Wednesday, starting early with the 01:39 arrival of the Manitowoc. She came from Burns Harbor with aggregate to unload at the Verplank dock in Ferrysburg. The unloading was complete by 12:03, and the Manitowoc winded her way back out to Lake Michigan, due next at Meldrum Bay. Later in the evening, Undaunted/Pere Marquette 41 arrived at 17:19, also to unload at the Verplank dock. Her cargo was stone from Port Inland, which should be offloaded by the morning.

American Century arrived to unload coal at DTE
Toledo, OH – Bill Kloss
Evans Spirit left for Detroit. Arrivals were Wilf Seymour/Alouette Spirit to Midwest, Samuel de Champlain/Innovation with cement for Holcim, and Algoma Intrepid with salt for the ARMS Dock.
Sandusky, OH – Bill Kloss
Hon. James L. Oberstar arrived from Detroit to load coal at Norfolk Southern. Once loaded the Oberstar departed for Monroe. CSL Niagara arrived later in the night to load at Norfolk Southern.
Cleveland, OH – Bill Kloss
NACC Alicudi has cement for Holcim. Federal St. Laurent left for Milwaukee. Celina and Gardno are unloading at the Port and American Courage is still on the shuttles.
Grand River, OH – Fairport Harbor, OH – Bill Kloss
Frontenac arrived for a load of road salt from the Morton plant.
Ashtabula, OH – Bill Kloss
Federal Mayumi is still unloading at the Pinney Dock and CSL St. Laurent remains anchored.
Conneaut, OH – Bill Kloss
Walter J. McCarthy Jr. arrived with ore for the P&C Dock.
Nanticoke, ON – Bill Kloss
Algoma Compass departed to Milwaukee and Algoterra is at Imperial Oil.
