As of Sunday night, Presque Isle was loading at CN#6. Lee A. Tregurtha is expected early Monday morning to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. American Integrity is expected late morning to load coal at SMET. Presque Isle is estimated to depart early afternoon with iron ore pellets. Great Republic is expected mid-afternoon to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected late Monday to load coal at SMET.
Superior Entry: Algoma Harvester departed at 06:31 (CST) Sunday morning with iron ore pellets for Hamilton. Stewart J. Cort arrived at 19:29 to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. As of Sunday night, Stewart J. Cort was loading at BNSF. Stewart J. Cort is estimated to depart Monday morning with iron ore pellets. Burns Harbor is expected Monday evening to load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A Putney
Michipicoten arrived Two Harbors on 8/23 at 01:08 and departed the same date at 06:01 for the Soo as she loaded at S of #2. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the arrival of the Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader at 08:56. due Silver Bay on 8/24 is the Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin. Great Republic is now showing she’ll head to Two Harbors to load after she discharges limestone in Duluth.

Sunday; 8:34 Federal Sutsuki departed for Quebec City. Monday; 11:47 Algoma Niagara arrived at the Superior Elevator to load grain.
Marquette, MI – Arthur Pickering
The next scheduled vessel to visit Marquette is the Great Lakes Trader due at the ore dock on Wednesday at 5 a.m. Herbert C Jackson is due in Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. and the Hon James L Oberstar is scheduled for Thursday morning at 8 a.m.
St. Marys River – Roger LeLievre
Upbound traffic Monday included Rt. Hon Paul J Martin and Kaministiqua. Downbounders included Federal Satsuki, Indiana Harbor and T/V State of Michigan. The downbound Algoma Harvester has been stopped west of Whitefish Point for nearly 24 hours as of Monday evening. UPDATE: Algoma Harvester got underway Tuesday morning eastbound.

Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor: Federal Weser remained at Burns Harbor on Monday. Joseph L. Block arrived to unload around 6 PM.

Meldrum Bay: Monday; 13:57 Algoma Innovator arrived to load limestone. 17:22 Algoma Intrepid arrived and went to anchor.
Bruce Mines: Monday; 16:59 Saginaw arrived to load trap rock.
Port Dolomite: Sunday; 1:57 Victory / Maumee departed down bound on Lake Huron. Calumet weighed anchor and proceeded to the dock to load. Monday; 8:26 Calumet departed for Cleveland.
Cheboygan: Monday; 5:42 The tug Michigan / tanker barge Great Lakes departed for Toledo.
Calcite: Sunday; 21:37 Undaunted / Pere Marquette 41 departed for the Saginaw River. Monday; 5:45 Herbert C Jackson departed for the Saginaw River. 8:31 Laura L Vanenkevort arrived to load limestone.
Alpena: Sunday; 23:03 The cement carrier Alpena arrived to load and departed Monday at 4:36 for Green Bay. 4:57 Samuel De Champlain / Innovation weighed anchor and proceeded to the Lafarge plant to load cement products.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Conveyor cleared 1.39 pm Monday downbound for Becancour with salt.
Algoma Compass arrived at 6 pm Monday loading at Compass Minerals. Compass’ 14th appearance for salt this season. Goderich this season has hosted 112 vessels. Algoma Guardian has gone into layup at the north wall basin.

Algoma Buffalo has gone into temporary layup in the north slip.
Lake Erie Ports for Monday – Bill Kloss
Marblehead: Olive L. Moore/Menominee departed Sunday night for Marine City.
Cleveland: G.L. Ostrander/Integrity departed at 11:56 for Alpena. Sea Eagle II/St. Mary’s Cement II arrived at 14:03 for St. Mary’s Jefferson St. terminal. Sam Laud arrived at 15:02. American Spirit arrived at the Bulk Terminal at 18:10 to unload UTAC ore.
Fairport Harbor: Frontenac left for Toronto at 19:32.
Conneaut: Edgar B. Speer left for Two Harbors at 13:07.
Nanticoke: Algoma Hansa departed at 12:00 for Sorel-Tracy. Edwin H. Gott arrived at Stelco at 17:36.
Seaway – Rene Beauchamp
Federal Freedom, one of the new bulk carriers in the Fednav fleet, arrived at the Sorel-Tracy anchorage eight days ago waiting to moor at section 19 to unload part of its cargo there. Possibly, tomorrow at the latest, she can dock.Then she will undoubtedly leave for a port of the Seaway / Great Lakes.
