Duluth Entry: American Integrity departed at 20:12 (CST) Saturday night with iron ore pellets for Conneaut. Mesabi Miner departed at 23:40 with coal for St. Clair. As of Sunday afternoon, BBC St. Petersburg was anchored off Duluth waiting to load wheat at CHS#1. BBC St. Petersburg is expected to arrive from anchor Sunday late afternoon. Tug G.L. Ostrander and barge Integrity are expected Sunday night to unload cement at Lafarge. James R. Barker is expected early Monday morning to load iron ore pellets at CN#6. American Mariner is expected mid-morning to unload limestone at CN-Hallett #5.
Superior Entry: Burns Harbor departed at 22:51 (CST) Saturday night with iron ore pellets for her namesake port. CSL Tadoussac arrived at 23:45 to load at BNSF; she departed at 08:08 Sunday morning with iron ore pellets for Nanticoke. Stewart J. Cort arrived at 09:02 to load at BNSF. As of Sunday afternoon, Stewart J. Cort was loading at BNSF; they’re estimated to depart Sunday night with iron ore pellets. CSL Niagara is expected Monday night to load at BNSF.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A Putney
Due Two Harbors on 8/9 is the Rt. Hon Paul J. Martin. Due Northshore Mining on 8/9 is the Algoma Conveyor. The G3 Marquis departed Silver Bay on 8/8 at 15:48 for Quebec City.

St. Marys River
U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) research vessel Kiyi moored at the Coast Guard base Sunday with mechanical issues. She was still there Monday waiting for technicians.
Northern Lake Michigan
Charlevoix: Saturday; 20:55 Petite Forte / barge St Marys Cement arrived to load cement products and departed Sunday at 19:30 for Toronto. 20:54 Prentiss Brown / St Marys Conquest arrived to load cement.
Port Inland: Saturday; 19:29 Joseph L Block arrived to partially load and departed Sunday at 2:50 for Port Dolomite.
Brevort: Sunday; 12:05 Algoma Compass arrived to load processed sand.
Milwaukee, WI – MKE Marine Reports
Federal Satsuki arrived from Burns Harbor at 06:04 Sunday (08/08) with steel from IJmuiden, Netherlands. Assisted by G-tug North Dakota, she backed into south slip one, outer harbor, and tied up at the Federal Marine Terminals dock. Federal Satsuki is the twelfth seaway vessel to call at Milwaukee in 2021. All have carried steel. By this time last year, 16 salties carrying steel had visited the city.
Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
South Chicago: Arthur M. Anderson arrived at the mouth of the Calumet River around 8 a.m. after shifting over from Gary, heading to KCBX to load. Happy River arrived in the afternoon. Vlieborg remained in South Chicago on Sunday.
Indiana Harbor: Hon. James L. Oberstar and Wilfred Sykes departed early Sunday morning, with Walter J. McCarthy Jr. arriving soon after.
Buffington Harbor: Defiance/Ashtabula arrived to unload, with the Dirk S. Vanenkevort/Michigan Trader arriving to take their place.
Gary: Arthur M. Anderson arrived overnight from repairs in Sturgeon Bay, shifting to South Chicago Sunday morning. American Spirit remained in Gary on Sunday.
Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor: Wilfred Sykes arrived in the morning after completing her turn at Indiana Harbor. John D. Leitch arrived at Burns Harbor soon after.

Bruce Mines: Saturday; 17:29 Laura L Van Enkevort / Joseph H Thompson arrived to load trap rock and departed Sunday at 5:24 for Calumet Harbor.
Drummond Island: Saturday; 20:53 Robert S Pierson departed for Windsor.
Port Dolomite: Sunday; 10:25 Joseph L Block arrived to finish loading with limestone.
Cheboygan: Saturday; 18:30 The tug Albert / tanker barge Margaret arrived at the US Oil Co. terminal to unload petroleum products and departed Sunday at 4:22 for Sarnia.
Calcite: Sunday; 2:56 Great Republic arrived to load limestone. 14:14 John J Boland departed for Ashtabula.
Stoneport: Saturday; 20:38 Clyde S Van Enkevort / Erie Trader arrived to load limestone and departed at 13:40 for Toledo. Olive L Moore / Menominee arrived and went to anchor. 14:06 Herbert C Jackson arrived to load limestone.
Alpena: Sunday; 8:18 The cement carrier Alpena arrived to load and departed at 15:30 for Milwaukee.
Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Innovator cleared 8.22 am Sunday upbound for Milwaukee with salt. Algoman Buffalo cleared 4.04 pm Sunday upbound wiih salt.

Monroe: After unloading at DTE, Paul R.Tregurtha departed for Superior at 02:32
Marblehead: Sam Laud departed at 02:29.
Cleveland: Fednav’s Federal Beaufort arrived at 07:53 and went to dock 24W at the Port. Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder arrived at 16:34 to load at Cargill. American Courage is back on the shuttles.
Nanticoke: Algoma Hansa loaded and departed for Tracy at 15:39. Algonorth arrived at the Port Dover anchorage at 04:05 to wait for a berth at Imperial Oil. After Algoma Hansa left, she came in at 15:52. Edwin H. Gott arrived to unload at Stelco at 18:26.
