Duluth Entry: American Century departed at 23:01 (CST) Wednesday night with low sulfur coal for St. Clair. American Integrity arrived at 23:27 to load low sulfur coal at SMET. Algoma Mariner arrived at 13:19 Thursday afternoon to fuel at Husky. American Integrity departed at 14:19 with low sulfur coal for St. Clair. James R. Barker arrived at 15:10 to load low sulfur coal at SMET. As of Thursday night, Algoma Mariner was still at Husky Fuel. Algoma Mariner is estimated to depart sometime Thursday night. James R. Barker is estimated to depart early Friday with low sulfur coal. Paul R. Tregurtha is expected early afternoon to load low sulfur coal at SMET. Finally, Mesabi Miner is expected Friday evening to load iron ore pellets at CN#6.
Superior Entry:
Algoma Mariner arrived at 23:10 (CST) Wednesday night to load at BNSF; they departed at 12:27 Thursday afternoon to fuel at Husky before departing for the lower lakes. As of Thursday night, James R. Barker was loading at SMET, Stewart J. Cort was loading at BNSF, and Michipicoten was anchored outside Superior waiting to load at BNSF. Stewart J. Cort is estimated to depart early Friday with iron ore pellets; Michipicoten will arrive to load next. CSL Niagara will arrive and anchor overnight along with Algoma Equinox to both load iron ore pellets at BNSF.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
The Edgar B. Speer departed Two Harbors on 12/22 at 22:40 for Gary. Due Two Harbors on 12/24 are the Walter J. McCarthy Jr., Great Republic, and the Indiana Harbor. Northshore Mining in Silver Bay saw the departure of the Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader at 18:05 on 12/22 for Toledo. Due Silver Bay on 12/24 is the Joyce L. VanEnkevort/Great Lakes Trader.

Wednesday; 19:36 Federal Oshima departed for Montreal. Algoma Strongfield shifted to the Richardson Current River Terminal to finish loading. 19:47 Manitoulin weighed anchor and proceeded to the Richardson Main Terminal to load grain. Thursday; 0:01 Algoma Sault arrived at the Superior Elevator to load grain. 1:09 Harvest Spirit arrived and went to anchor south of the Welcome Islands. 1:10 Baie Comeau departed for Montreal. 5:46 John D Leitch departed for Detroit. 11:24 Whitefish Bay departed for Becancour.arrived at Thunder Bay Terminals to load coal. 17:59 Algoma Intrepid arrived at Viterra B to load grain.

Marquette Report Dec 23rd: The Lee Tregurtha made a visit to the ore dock here in Marquette yesterday afternoon and departed early today. The Maumee is scheduled for an early morning arrival on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day, three vessels are scheduled to visit the ore dock starting with the Kaye Barker at 1 a.m., the Herbert Jackson at 3 p.m. and the Hon. James Oberstar at 6 p.m. Merry Christmas everyone!

Charlevoix: Wednesday; 15:00 Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Conquest departed for Milwaukee. 19:00 Prentiss Brown / St Marys Challenger arrived at the St Marys plant to load cement products and departed Thursday at 5:59 for Owen Sound.

Bradshaw McKee/St. Marys Conquest arrived from Charlevoix at 11:16 Thursday (12/23) with cement for the Kinnickinnic River terminal.
Southern Lake Michigan – Stephen Sostaric
South Chicago: Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder departed for Muskegon on Thursday morning. Caroline McKee/Commander departed Thursday evening.
Indiana Harbor: Joseph L. Block arrived late Thursday morning. Hon. James L. Oberstar arrived and anchored in the lake.
Gary: Arthur M. Anderson and John G. Munson were in port Thursday, with John G. Munson departing in the evening.
Port of Indiana – Burns Harbor: Wilfred Sykes arrived early Thursday morning, followed by Burns Harbor early in the afternoon. Herbert C. Jackson was due in Thursday night.

Alpena: Wednesday; 19:26 Samuel De Champlain / Innovation arrived at the Lafarge plant to load cement products and departed Thursday at 0:45 for McGregor Bay. 12:32 G L Ostrander / Integrity arrived at the Lafarge plant to load cement products. 15:49 American Courage arrived and went to anchor.
McGregor Bay: Thursday; 12:43 Samuel De Champlain / Innovation arrived at the Lafarge Whitefish River Terminal to unload cement products.

Algoma Compass arrived 15:03 Thursday to load at Compass Minerals; this is their 29th appearance this season.

Monroe: Kaye E. Barker arrived at 17:42 with a second delivery of coal from Sandusky to unload at DTE.
Marblehead: Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson is on her 3rd trip to LaFarge here, arriving at 05:50.
Sandusky: Kaye E. Barker arrived at 00:06 to load coal at Norfolk Southern. After loading she left for a return to Monroe.
Lorain: Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson left for Marblehead at 03:06.
Cleveland: The last saltie of the season for the Port, Canfornav’s Chestnut departed for Toledo at 00:33. Sharon MI/Huron Spirit left for Nanticoke at 02:14. Algoma Buffalo arrived at 06:29 to load salt at Cargill. Petite Forte/St.Marys Cement arrived at 20:55 to unload at St. Marys Cement. Dirk S. VanEnkevort/Michigan Trader arrived late Thursday night and went to the Bulk Terminal to unload.
Fairport Harbor: Frontenac arrived at 08:21 to load at Morton Salt.
Nanticoke: Edwin H. Gott went to the dock to unload at Stelco. Calumet went to Stelco at 13:31. Petite Forte left for Cleveland. Sharon MI/Huron Spirit arrived at 15:39 and will load steel coils at Stelco.
