Duluth Entry: Arthur M. Anderson departed at 23:38 (CST) Monday night with iron ore pellets for Nanticoke. John J. Boland arrived at 00:11 Tuesday morning to load petroleum coke at SMET. Dirk S. VanEnkevort departed at 10:49 with iron ore pellets for Cleveland. John J. Boland departed at 11:10 with petroleum coke for Thorold. Samuel de Champlain and Innovation arrived at 13:35 to unload cement at Lafarge. As of Tuesday night, no vessels were in port on the Duluth side. American Century is expected early Wednesday morning to fuel then load low sulfur coal at SMET. American Integrity is expected early afternoon to also load low sulfur coal at SMET. Wilfred Sykes is expected Wednesday night to load iron ore pellets at CN#6.
Superior Entry: Burns Harbor departed at 07:24 (CST) Tuesday morning with iron ore pellets for Burns Harbor. Algoma Discovery arrived at 11:26 to load at BNSF. As of Tuesday night, Algoma Discovery was loading at BNSF and Samuel de Champlain was unloading at Lafarge. Algoma Discovery is estimated to depart Tuesday night with iron ore pellets. American Mariner is expected Wednesday mid-morning to load iron ore pellets at BNSF. Samuel de Champlain is estimated to depart with Innovation Wednesday night empty.
Two Harbors-Silver Bay – Gary A. Putney
Edwin H. Gott departed Two Harbors on 12/28 at 03:21 for Conneaut. John G. Munson arrived Two Harbors on 12/28 at 05:06 with Nels J. assist. She departed Two Harbors on 12/28 at 17:10 for Conneaut. Before arriving Two Harbors she had been anchored off Superior. Joseph L. Block arrived Two Harbors on 12/28 after being anchored off Superior. Also due Two Harbors are the American Spirit that left anchorage off Ashland on 12/28 and went to anchor off Duluth. At 19:00 on 12/28 the Presque Isle was East of Outer Is. and is also due Two Harbors. Also due Two Harbors is the Edgar B. Speer. At 17:00 on 12/28 she was East of Eagle Harbor.
Thunder Bay, ON
Tuesday; 7:11 Saginaw departed for Goderich. Blair McKeil shifted to the Superior Elevator to finish loading. and departed at 15:40 for Windsor. 16:08 Algoma Conveyor arrived at the Richardson Current River Terminal to load grain.
Marquette, MI – Arthur Pickering
The next scheduled vessel due into Marquette will be the H. Lee White due in Wednesday evening. Then the Maumee is scheduled for an early morning arrival on Thursday and the Kaye Barker is scheduled for a late evening arrival on Friday.

Charlevoix: Tuesday 15:51 Bradshaw McKee / St Marys Conquest arrived at the St Marys plant to load cement products.

The Miller Boat Line ferry Mary Ann Market arrived at Bay Ship Tuesday afternoon.

Goderich, ON – Bruce Douglas
Algoma Innovator cleared 21:15 Monday night downbound for Johnstown ON with salt. Algoma Buffalo began loading at Compass Minerals; this is their 30th appearance this season.
Lake Erie Ports – Bill Kloss
Monroe: James R. Barker departed for Superior Midwest Energy at 02:52.
Marblehead: American Courage departed for Cleveland at 05:09.
Lorain: Cuyahoga arrived from Windsor at 05:41 to unload at Amcor.
Cleveland: American Courage arrived at 10:13 to unload at Osborne. NACC Argonaut departed for Bath, ON at 12:50. Defiance/Ashtabula left for Two Harbors at 13:04.
Fairport Harbor: Laura L. VanEnkevort/Joseph H. Thompson arrived at 14:17 to unload at Osborne.
Nanticoke: Manitoulin arrived late Monday night to unload at Stelco. She departed at 18:56. CSL Niagara arrived at 06:13 and went to anchor off of Port Dover. She went to Stelco at 20:22 after Manitoulin cleared. Olive L. Moore/Menominee arrived late Tuesday night.
Seaway – Rene Beauchamp
Federal Alster will be the last saltwater vessel above the Welland Canal. She will have ample time to clear the St. Lawrence Seaway before it shuts down for the season at noon on January 1, 2022. She departed Morterm in Windsor on Tuesday.
